Ralag's Amulet of Fire

Excerpt from the Adventure of Bjorn Ironsides.

After many battles in Gemke, I have single handedly destroyed a few undead armies, and eventually tracked the necromancer that was behind these occurances. When I have destroyed the last of his creations I faced the necromancer, unfortunately for me he turned out to be a powerful fire mage as well. Later on I learned that his name was Ralag, and according to some of the tomes I have read, he was over two hundred years old. When I fought him, he did a trickery I didnt expect... He set himself on fire, yet the fire did not consume his flesh, but when it came in contact with me or even my weapon, it melted it! I have recieved severe burns after this fight and will need much time to properly heal... But I degress. I lured the mage to the cliffs, and the skill of throwing stones which I perfected as a young boy played a crucial role for my survival! When he was chasing me down a steep slope, I have thrown a pebble (I carry a few in my pocket... Old habit) And hit him right between his burning eyes! He lost his balance and fell down the cliff... It took me an hour to climb and find his shattered and still burning body. After I put the fire away with copious ammount of water and searched him, I found a unique necklace the mage forged himself! It seems the item protects its wearer from any fire! And is certainly a prestigious item to wear as it pulsates with a pleasant red light. I am sure there are many more secrets related to the item, but I do not have the time to dwell into them.
