Rumour told of a magical flute that calmed the masses and fed millions. The piper would lead all who followed to water and food and plenty was had. The "old flute' was lost when the piper killed by barbarians his body left to rot on a heap. The flute was carried by the crows high into Lupa Lapu where monster beasts found it and it was found by Stubble the one legged adventurer.
