Punishments

There are various Punishments that should be incurred upon a member of the army who commits a crime against the army. The current list is as follows:

  • If a member of the Army -
    • Blatantly moves against orders, they shall have a mark placed against their name
    • Unjustly and maliciously slanders another member, they shall have a mark placed against their name
    • Does not enter battle with his troops placed correctly, they shall suffer 1/3 of a mark against their name
    • Calls a Court Martial and it fails to win support and even consideration, they shall suffer a mark placed against their name
    • Speaks out harshly, with their sole intent being to stir up malcontent against the Army, they shall be banned from the Army immediately
    • Is discovered to have attempted to sway votes in any election other than by noble means, they shall be banned from the Army immediately
    • Accumulates three marks against their name, they shall be banned from the Army

Honors and Awards

There are various Orders which members of the Army may be admitted into. They shall have their names placed in the Annals and be remembered for their outstanding deeds in service to the Army. The Orders are as follows:

  • The Order of the Valiant Lion
    • Having fought in three battles or more where the friendly army was outnumbered by at least 3,000 CS but no more than 7,000 CS. This maximum is set as to not promote suicidal attacks within the Army to gain Fame.
  • The Order of the Vigilant Hawk
    • Spending at least eight turns consecutively in enemy held territory while scouting without a unit and without being captured or wounded.
  • The Order of the Cloaked Dagger
    • Striking down five enemy troop leaders using infiltration of an enemy camp
  • The Halls of the Bleeding Hearts
    • Only given after death, this is the highest honor one can receive while a member of the Army. This is reserved for a Hero who dies in a battle with a foe.
  • The Order of the Silver Acorn
    • Promoting growth and prosperity as a bureaucrat of the realm for 100 consecutive days
  • The Order of the Glistening Stalk
    • Serving as a trader who has either:
      • Completed three international journeys OR
      • Served the realm actively as a trader for 100 days
  • The Brotherhood of the Blessed Tome
    • Instruct the new members of the realm as a mentor for 100 consecutive days
  • "The Unbreakables"
    • Be the last brigade standing in a friendly army for three battles
