The Mysterious Longsword of Blood, is, as it's name aptly says, Mysterious. Despite the rampant legends surrounding other Unique Items, the Mysterious Longsword of Blood has somehow managed to stay aloof from this situation, having no mention in any obscure legends, no place in ancient Gnostic texts, and no special curses or boons.
It is, very simply, a Longsword. An instrument of war, designed to kill, maim, or failing that, brutally incapacitate monsters, undead and men alike. Its name comes from its great power at this task, for it is always covered with a fresh sheen of blood from enemies of the wielder. It has a fearsome reputation, granting its wielder a +2 bonus to prestige.
However, due ot its sheer mystery, nobody seems to know who has forged it, or who has wielded it in the past. The weapon's utilitarian design gives no help as to this task. Strangely enough, most wielders seem not to care.
The Longsword was found by Gorgranz, an adventurer of dubious repute and even dubiouser sanity, while searching in the Seven Rivers district. Nobody knows how it got there (it's mysterious!) but it was discovered in the middle of a pile of dead monsters near to a really big tree.
Now the Longsword is in the hand of Nezumi Vecchio Ratto former Ruler of Avalon, he find the property of the sword pretty curious. In fact the blood over the blade can be washed away in anyway and don't coagulate. This can be a little problem. Anyway is a great sword and showing it in battle make the heart of enemy shaken. when in use splash of blood dabble all around.
Nezumi use this Sword in the duel with the Demon Lord Rampaging. After a long duel the homungus deamon surrender to the superiority of the Mysterius Blade of Blood. Suffering minor wound. The blood on the blade after the duel take a strange purple tone.
The sword was lost, probably when Nezumi fell to an infiltrator shortly after. The daimon lord Invisible picked it up when he looted his way through Ketampkin days later. With its history and importance, its prestige bonus had risen to +6.
