History: The mediocre club is well known for it's history of mediocrity. Legend has it the mediocre club was used by many of the world most mediocre villains throughout the eons who were conquered by hero's and champions wielding slightly more impressive weapons of legend. Some say the Mediocre club is cursed to recluse it's user to only mediocre success in life and doom them to be overshadowed by the rise of a more impressive and more legendary item of power. Still, those in the know realize that the mediocre club is perhaps the most legendary item of all, appearing time and time again in the hands of monstrous and undead champions that are bested to add to the legends of other items.
Most recently one adventurer slayed the wielder of the Mediocre club and was able to discern it's significance. Rather than leave it to be taken up again by another champion of monstrous or undead origin he took it with him, intent to let this legendarily mediocre weapon be used by the most mediocre of the lands civilized nobility.
