Rules

1. Each contestant will choose one style to specialize(*) in.
2. Once they have chosen a style, they will choose which styles to use for each match.
3. Every match is best of 3.
4. Contestants can only change their choices at the beginning of each round.
5. Each round will cut the number of contestants by half by only allowing the top half to advance to the next round.

• Specialization: You gain 5 bonus points against A)Same technique but not specialized or B)Countered by your technique. Additional 5 points if your opponent is countered by your technique and specialized.
  • If you chose an advantageous technique against your opponent, you gain 5 bonus points.

Determining the outcome

1. Check both contestants' attribute points(will use the highest attribute among the four attribute assigned to every contestant. Can check them HERE).
2. Check both contestants and determine who gained the upper hand(+5 pts) - if your style counters your opponent
3. Check if the contestant who gained the upper hand specialized in the technique they used this round(+5 pts)
4. Check if the contestant who gained the upper hand and specialized did so against the opponent's specialization(ex - A specialized in aggressive vs B specialized in neutral) - decimated. B's pts for the match will be set to 0.
5. Roll a 6 sided die for each contestant to determine the luck factor.
6. Add all the numbers to decide the outcome.
7. If tied, the number of advantages(number of rounds where each contestant gained bonuses)
8. If they are still tied, then roll a die. Left side wins if the die comes out with (1,2,3). Right side wins if the die comes out with (4,5,6).

1. A(5 attribute pts, specialized in aggressive) vs B(7 attribute pts, specialized in neutral)
2. A(A-A-A) vs B(N-D-A)
3. A(5+10)(5)(5+5) vs B(7)(7+5)(7)
4. A=30 vs B=26
5. Luck factor roll for A = 2
6. Luck factor roll for B = 6
7. Final A=32, Final B=32
8. Since they are tied, the number of advantages will decide the outcome
9. A=2 vs B=1
10. A wins the series
