Attributes

The event will use Attribute Points.

Injury

During the Adventure Event, you may get injured. Depending on the number of injury points, you may have to rest. You still have an option to continue but once you collect enough injury points, you might not be able to continue the event at all. Your endurance points will prevent injuries from affecting your performance until your injuries become too severe.

Number of Points exceeding endurance

0~3 Normal/Insignificant
4~7 Lightly wounded(-1 to all attributes)
8~10 Wounded(-2 to all attributes)
11~12 Seriously Wounded(-3 to all attributes)
13~14 Critically Wounded(-4 to all attributes)

Updates

Update #1 7/15/22

  • <Event Update>

One of the quests will be a maze quest. You will explore a maze where you can find clues to solve harder quests or fight monsters captured from the past campaigns. Of course when you fight them, you will do so alone without your men. You can of course go around if you need to but sometimes you just can't avoid them. You can, however, form a group to defeat them but then you will most likely have to share the prize as well.

  • <Maze>:Balanced(Attributes + Luck)

There will be 3 maze sizes. Small-Medium-Large. Each maze will be a combination of those three sizes. Depending on the difficulty of each maze, you will get more of them of less. Once you finish one variation, you will get a chance to learn to recognize maze patterns. Every time you enter a section of maze you have seen before, you have a high chance of recognizing it immediately. This will allow you to skip that section of the maze. You will claim the prize immediately and move on to the next section. You will also avoid all the challenges and monsters. If you focus on solving maze quests, you will eventually become good enough to run through them very quickly.

  • <Rewards>
3~5 Event Tokens
Quest items
  • <Playstyle>

You can choose to participate in three different ways.

  1. Every turn
  2. Every day
  3. Once a week

When the event starts, I will ask all the participants to choose one of the three play styles. You can always choose slower styles but once you choose a slower style, you can't go back to ones that are faster than your chosen style. You may wonder how someone playing once a week can compete with someone who plays every turn. Now you will have to play a bit differently. Once a week playstyle will be very simple. You choose a quest and you will finish it over time. Spending a week will automatically complete any low difficulty quest. Once you become more experienced with quests(finishing a certain number of quests will make you more experienced for the harder quests), you will only need one week to complete a medium difficulty quest. Of course if you try harder difficulty quests without finishing lower difficulty quests, you will take longer to complete a quest.

Every turn and every day will have more control over finishing quests. You will get bonus minor prizes along the way. You may, however, have to deal with challenges you may have otherwise ignored with the once a week playstyle.

Update #2 7/18/22

  • <Dungeon>:Attribute/Cooperation Focused

You will enter a dungeon filled with monsters and traps to retrieve an item vital to completing more difficult quests. The dungeon event has few phases.

  1. Preparation - Weapon Selection(1) / Armour Selection(1) / Miscellaneous item Selection (1)
Weapon - Blade(good vs thin hide)/Blunt(good vs hard skin/shell)/Pierce(good vs thick hide)
Armour - Light(good at avoiding damage/bad against multiple small enemies)/Heavy(good at taking less damage/bad against one strong enemy)
  1. Assigning Bonus- Based on your highest attribute, you will be assigned a bonus trait.
Renown - +1 item
Prowess - +1 damage
Leadership - Find weakness
Endurance - Avoid hit once
  1. Choose an entrance - You may spend event tokens to cut the event length. You may get less rewards however but will also face less monsters and traps.
  • <Possible Rewards>
2~5 Event Tokens
Key Quest items

Update #3 7/20/22

  • <Random Events>

Based on your location and attributes, you will get random events randomly. But since they are completely random, you may not get any if you are unlucky. But sometimes not getting any could be a good thing.

  • <Random Event Variations>
1. Monster/Bandit Encounter - Walled regions are safer to travel but anywhere outside is quite dangerous. Still, Lurian regions safer than rogue regions. You will enter enemies more often when you travel to rogue regions so be careful.
2. Bad Weather(Rain, Wind, Hail, Storm) - Depending on how bad the weather condition is, you can suffer from injuries. Exhaustion(1~2), Small Cuts(1~3), Bruises(2~4), Deep Cuts and lacerations(3~5), Bone Fracture(6~10)*, Puncture(6~12)**.
3. Meeting other travelers - You can either greet them or rob them. But if you try to rob them, they may fight back.
4. Magical Rainbow - You thought magic was just a myth until you witnessed it yourself. Reduces injury points(2~12). If at 0, then reward 5 Event Tokens
5. Inn - You can spend your tokens to take a break. Reduces injury points(1~6)(Guaranteed: 2 in rural, 3 in townsland, 6 in city)(Cost: 1 in rural, 2 in townsland, 3 in city)
6. Travelling Merchant - You can spend your tokens to change your equipment
*Bone Fracture - lowers prowess by the number of bone fracture debuffs on you
**Puncture(Bleeding) - lowers 1 point of endurance every day until treated

Update #4 Main Quests 7/22/22

  • <Main Quests>

Main Quests are the highlights of the Adventure Game Event. They are the most rewarding and most challenging among the quests and events introduced thus far. There will be three different types of quests - Battle, Rush, and Survival

  • <Battle>

Those who decide to complete this quest will face one of the powerful boss monsters. You will have to go through several steps in order to reach and weaken the monster.

1. You need to first gather clues about the monster you are planning on defeating
2. More clues will help you narrow down which monster you are facing. You will learn about its whereabouts, strengths and weaknesses.
3. Most boss monsters are difficult to bring down alone(Not impossible but very difficult). It is recommended that you learn to cooperate with others to bring down the monster.
  • <Rush>

This quest is about collecting special quest pieces faster than others. They are scattered throughout the lands and you will need to hunt all of them down. But as the quest name implies, you need to be quick about it since you will be competing against others. If others find the pieces you want first, you will have to get them somehow. Or you might be able to trick others into believing that you will share the rewards(Of course you can share the rewards if you fill honourable and generous).

1. You will find special pieces from completing mazes and dungeons. Sometimes you will find them from a random event. Or even from one of the other main quests.
2. It is highly likely that some of the pieces will end up in someone else's hands. You will need to find a way to get the pieces.
  • <Survival>

This quest is almost impossible to finish alone. You will enter a tower and upon entering it, you won't be able to exit it until the end. Once you enter the tower, you have to reach the top. However, the master of the tower will try his best to stop you from reaching the tower. Sometimes you may have to leave teammates behind so they can buy time for you to reach the top. The quest becomes easier if you can bring more people you since there will be more bodies to stop the challenges thrown by the master. Once you reach the top, you will face the master. Upon defeating him, you will complete the quest. However, the person completing the quest will be the only one being rewarded. It will be up to that person to decide whether the rewards should be shared or not.
