🌫🌞
As Samson and Rojak enter the tomb together, their presence is acknowledged by the vigilant statues standing by the metal gate. The statues confirm the authenticity of the metal key, and with a resolute nod, Samson inserts the key into the small hole on the gate. In a mesmerizing display, the key melts and seamlessly merges with the gate, eliciting a low hum that fills the chamber.

With a faint rumble, the gate begins to slide open, granting access to a new room that lies beyond. The walls of this room are adorned with peculiar crystals that exude a pristine aura, reflecting the images of Samson and Rojak in a multitude of angles. It is an eerie sight, witnessing their own reflections enveloping the space around them. Yet, amidst the unfamiliar surroundings, the glowing stone blocks beneath their feet offer a sense of familiarity and security.

Guided by curiosity and determination, the duo proceeds deeper into the room, only to be confronted by another metal gate. Unlike the previous gate, there are no statues guarding this entrance. Yet, as if responding to their presence, the gate effortlessly slides open, revealing a sight that both intrigues and unsettles.

Within the chamber, numerous glass containers hold a strange, yellowish green liquid, within which float the bodies of unrecognizable creatures, resembling amorphous blobs of flesh. However, as Samson and Rojak press onward, the shapes within the containers gradually transform, taking on a familiar semblance. The further they progress, the more they resemble the creature they have long sought—the pretender itself.

At the end of the room, a massive glass container towers before them, housing the pretender within its confines. The creature, shrouded in black fur, emanates an aura of darkness and deceit. Surrounding the glass container, the duo discovers glowing stone tablets adorned with cryptic inscriptions, foreign to their understanding. It becomes clear that deciphering these tablets could hold the key to unraveling the mysteries surrounding the pretender's origins and nature.

Realizing the significance of the glowing stone tablets and their potential to unveil the truth about the pretender, Samson and Rojak decide to gather a selection of them to bring back with them. Understanding the impossibility of taking all the tablets within the vast chamber, they focus on collecting the ones situated near the final container housing the pretender.

Carefully handling the tablets, they ensure their safe transportation, aware of the invaluable knowledge that may lie within their inscriptions. With their newfound treasures in hand, Samson and Rojak make their way back through the thick fog, each step carrying them closer to their respective homes.

(+5 clues each. Can collect more clues from the tomb until the room runs out of tablets.)

🌫🌞 Determined to gather information about Tybalt's activities, you set out to stalk him despite the dense fog enveloping the city. Moving stealthily through the obscured streets, you strain your senses to catch any glimpse or sound that might reveal Tybalt's whereabouts.

As you navigate through the mist, your senses become attuned to the subtle changes in the environment. The dampness in the air seems to cling to your skin, muffling sounds and distorting shapes. Each step is calculated, every movement careful to avoid drawing attention.

You keep a safe distance, observing Tybalt's house from the shadows. The fog shrouds the building, making it difficult to discern any specific actions or movements inside. Yet, you remain patient, knowing that persistence may grant you a valuable insight into Tybalt's intentions.

Report from Wassgandr Felsenbach

(Personal message to Tybalt Tideweaver)

With your heightened olfactory sense, you focus on detecting the distinct smells of the soldiers around you, determined to gather information despite the disturbance caused by the fog. Although your ability to smell accurately is somewhat compromised, you are still able to navigate through the dense mist with relative ease.

The intertwined scent of Samson and Rojak indicates their collaboration, suggesting that they are working together on a shared objective. While you cannot determine their exact destination, their departure from their respective houses implies an active engagement in the city. Their combined aroma lingers in the air, giving you a trail to follow if necessary.

In contrast, Richard's scent remains in close proximity, indicating that he has not ventured far from the residential area. The nature of his activities, however, remains unclear to you at this point. It is possible that he is tending to matters within the confines of his home or engaging in activities that do not require leaving the immediate vicinity.

Moria's scent, although faint, suggests her departure from the residential area as well. Her movements and intentions remain elusive, leaving you with little information about her whereabouts or objectives.

As for the remaining soldiers, their scents elude your senses. They either reside too far for you to detect or have chosen to remain within the safety of their homes, concealing their presence and intentions.

As you focus your senses on Samson, a wave of familiarity washes over you, intermingling with the scents that waft through the air. Fragments of a forgotten past begin to resurface, flashing before your mind's eye like echoes of a distant time. The scent emanating from Samson triggers a cascade of images, vivid and haunting, revealing glimpses of a world long gone.

Within the depths of your mind, you find yourself immersed in a realm of yellowish green liquid, encased within large glass containers. Cold, calculating eyes peer at you from beyond the confines of the transparent barriers, observing your every move with an intensity that sends shivers down your spine. The familiarity of these memories is striking, as if they were imprinted deep within your being, carried across generations.

Yet, the exact nature and significance of these memories elude you, remaining tantalizingly out of reach. They hold a connection to your very essence, an enigmatic puzzle waiting to be unraveled. How and why these memories intertwine with Samson's presence remains a mystery, but the undeniable truth emerges: he carries a scent that resonates with your own, forging an unspoken bond that transcends the realm of ordinary perception.

Roleplay from Wassgandr Felsenbach

(Personal message to Tybalt Tideweaver)

With a deep resolve, you choose to relinquish your heightened sense of smell, sacrificing your olfactory prowess to embrace a new and potent ability: face-shifting. Drawing upon the essence harvested from Lexis, a transformation begins to surge through your body. As your sense of smell fades to that of an ordinary human, you feel a remarkable malleability take hold of your visage. Your features become pliable, granting you the power to assume the likeness of others.

In an instant, you seamlessly shift your appearance to mimic that of Moria, assuming her countenance with uncanny precision. Although your body shape remains unchanged, you trust that the fog's dense shroud will provide ample concealment, rendering any subtle discrepancies inconspicuous to the casual observer.

Eager to pursue Samson and Rojak, you swiftly depart from your house, hastening toward the location where you last detected their scent. As you trail their path, you deduce that they have made their way to the graveyard, likely entering the coveted final tomb. Determination propels you forward, propelling your movements with urgency as you strive to catch up to them swiftly.

Entering the tomb's depths, your progress is abruptly halted by a formidable metal door, guarded staunchly by two imposing statues. Their heads pivot in unison as you draw near, a clear indication that entry beyond the door is contingent upon possessing a key. Regrettably, you find yourself without such a crucial artifact, prompting the statues to deny your passage and issue a menacing warning. Murky recollections stir within your mind, cautioning you about the statues' formidable nature. Respecting the danger they pose, you retreat from the entrance, opting to conceal yourself nearby and bide your time.

After a couple of arduous hours of waiting, the sound of approaching footsteps resonates from within the tomb. Soon, Samson and Rojak emerge from its depths, their presence signaling a moment of truth. Reveal yourself before them, shedding the guise of Moria to unveil your true form. The impact of your transformation elicits widened eyes and palpable panic in both Samson and Rojak. Reacting swiftly, they flee in opposite directions, their fear driving them to scatter.

Knowing you cannot pursue both, your focus narrows on the pursuit of Samson, determined to bring him down. While he employs cunning maneuvers within the obscuring fog, you remain undeterred. Swiftly closing the gap between you, you seize the opportunity to immobilize him, slamming into his form with powerful force. He crumples to the ground, his face meeting the earth. Seizing the decisive moment, you ruthlessly end his existence, delivering a fatal bite to his exposed neck. A brief twitch ripples through Samson's body before stillness claims him, his life extinguished.

As the echoes of your decisive action fade into the mist, you revel in the satisfaction of a successful hunt, savoring the taste of victory and relishing in the essence you have just harvested.

As you make your way out of the tomb, the path ahead intertwines with a fateful encounter. There, standing before you and Rojak, is Moria, but something is dreadfully different about her. She appears taller, her frame now imposing and larger than her usual self. As your eyes meet hers, an unsettling transformation begins to unfold. Moria's once ordinary eyes ignite with a radiant golden glow, emanating an otherworldly brilliance. With a surge of power, her shape begins to expand, her form contorting and twisting until she looms over you both, an embodiment of the very creature you have relentlessly pursued. Moria, it seems, has become the pretender, the elusive figure you have been hunting all along.

In a harrowing instant, the stark reality settles upon you and Rojak. Both of your gazes lock, recognizing the dire nature of the situation. It becomes painfully clear that only one of you will survive this deadly encounter. Without a moment's hesitation, you instinctively break away from Rojak, your survival instincts kicking into high gear. In a desperate bid for your life, you sprint through the foggy terrain, pushing your body to its limits. Each twist and turn is meant to confound the pretender, but the towering beast proves to be unrelenting in its pursuit. Its speed matches your every move, closing in on you with alarming proximity. Exhaustion creeps into your muscles, threatening to betray your resolve.

Finally, as weariness engulfs you, the pretender delivers a punishing blow from behind, sending you sprawling to the ground, your face meeting the cold earth. A haze descends, threatening to rob you of consciousness, but it is swiftly shattered by a searing pain that consumes your senses. The pretender's jaws clamp down upon your vulnerable neck, teeth sinking deep into flesh and sinew. Agony pierces every fiber of your being, your futile attempts to resist meeting only with the crushing reality of your impending demise. Life slips away, snuffed out by the relentless force of the pretender's jaws, leaving nothing but a haunting silence in the wake of your existence.

As you journey back through the fog, a chance encounter adds another twist to the unfolding saga. Richard, seemingly drawn by curiosity or perhaps a hidden agenda, is found near the graveyard. Surprise flickers across his face as he spots you, but it quickly gives way to understanding as he pieces together the perilous situation at hand. Without exchanging a word, you both lock eyes, sharing a mutual understanding of the imminent danger that lurks in the shadows. With a shared sense of urgency, you and Richard join forces, sprinting back to the relative safety of the residential area.

As you quietly adjust your position, a sudden jolt runs through your body as your left foot comes into contact with something solid. Holding your breath, you cautiously peer downward, only to discover a meticulously placed metal trap lying just inches away. A chill runs down your spine as you realize the close call you've narrowly avoided. If you had taken one more step in that direction, you would have triggered the trap, potentially exposing your presence. With a silent sigh of relief, you carefully maneuver away from the treacherous contraption, making a mental note to proceed with heightened vigilance.

But before you can fully process the encounter, the fortified door of Tybalt's house swings open, drawing your attention. A figure emerges from within, their identity obscured by the thick shroud of fog that blankets the surroundings. Determined not to lose sight of your target, you decide to trail them discreetly, maintaining a cautious distance to evade detection. As you traverse the terrain, your metallic armor serves as a constant reminder of the need for stealth.

Unable to rely on visual confirmation, you rely on the footprints left by the figure to guide your pursuit. Each step imprinted on the ground carries a familiar cadence, resonating with a sense of familiarity that hints at Tybalt's presence. Though all the soldiers don similar footwear, the distinct size and spacing between the footprints leave little room for doubt.

Following the trail of footprints, you venture deeper into the fog-shrouded graveyard, the distance between you and your quarry steadily increasing. Suddenly, the sound of heavy panting pierces through the mist, growing louder with each passing moment. As the figure draws nearer, you recognize Rojak, his face etched with panic and disbelief. Relief washes over both of you as your paths converge, momentarily united in this precarious pursuit.

Rojak's voice quivers as he urgently warns you to retreat, his words sending a shiver down your spine. He reveals the unthinkable—encountering the pretender. The revelation sends shockwaves through your thoughts, momentarily defying the boundaries of what you believed to be true. Yet, in this fog-shrouded realm, where the sun's rays are obscured, the pretender's presence becomes a haunting reality.

Without hesitation, you and Rojak instinctively turn back, hastening your steps towards the safety of the residential area. In between breaths, Rojak recounts the harrowing encounter, recounting his visit to the last tomb alongside Samson. The unthinkable unfolded before their eyes as Moria transformed into the pretender, casting a shadow over their alliance. Desperate to survive, Rojak and Samson swiftly separated, fleeing in opposite directions. While Rojak managed to elude the clutches of the pretender, he carries a heavy burden—the grim certainty that Samson may have met his demise.

In the midst of this impenetrable fog, with the pretender lurking in its true form, the search for Samson is an endeavor fraught with peril. Resolute in your decision, you set aside the urge to venture further, recognizing the importance of prioritizing your own survival in this treacherous game of shadows.

As you traverse the fog-laden landscape, a determination fuels your steps towards the ruined palace. The dense mist clings to the ancient stones, adding an air of desolation and foreboding to the surroundings. Undeterred, you press forward, driven by an insatiable curiosity and an unyielding desire to uncover the secrets within.

Within the palace's decaying walls, you navigate through dimly lit corridors and explore abandoned chambers. Despite the grimness that permeates the inner recesses, your resolve remains unshaken. Each room presents a potential discovery, enticing you to delve deeper into the forgotten history of this once grand abode.

Amongst the dilapidated spaces, you chance upon a set of ornate doors, their intricate designs whispering of forgotten opulence. Intrigued, you push them open, revealing a room suffused with a soft, warm glow. A sense of wonder and curiosity washes over you as you step into the adorned chamber, the door closing behind you with an eerie precision.

The room, though aged, bears signs of meticulous preservation, defying the passage of time. Questions swirl in your mind, puzzled by the enigma of this place. How could it remain so well-maintained when the palace itself has long been abandoned by generations past?

A figure stirs in the distance, rising from an elegant chair. As your eyes meet, you discern that this is no ordinary person. The air carries a certain aura, and you instantly recognize the presence of a witch. Yet, her demeanor stands apart from the sages who occasionally traverse such realms. There is an elegance that befits this chamber, as if she were once a royal herself.

With grace, the witch approaches, extending gratitude for your assistance to the locals. She expresses her willingness to aid you in return, unveiling a small golden sun trinket. However, the offer comes at a steep price—whatever valuable possessions you possess in exchange. The trinket, she assures, will provide protection against the pretender once, a precious gift to safeguard you in the face of impending danger.

Intrigued by her proposition, you accept the exchange, parting with your valued possessions. The witch imparts valuable information, revealing that clues hold the key to unlocking deeper truths. She promises to convert five clues into a single hint, a gesture reserved exclusively for you. Yet, in order to make use of her expertise, you must gather the elusive clues and return to her side.

Her gaze shifts towards the distance, and her voice carries a sense of urgency as she reveals another fallen comrade. Time, she warns, is of the essence, for the lives of the remaining soldiers hang in the balance. With the trinket in your possession and the weight of her words weighing upon you, you hasten your departure, racing back to the sanctuary of your own dwelling.

The fog veils your path as you navigate the familiar streets, a mixture of determination and apprehension propelling you forward. The witch's words echo in your mind, reminding you of the pressing task at hand—to gather the necessary clues, to unravel the mysteries that shroud the pretender, and to secure the safety of your fellow soldiers.

(-2 valuables, Sun Trinket Gained. 5 clues can be converted into a hint if you can deliver them to the witch)

As the soldiers gather outside to cast their votes, you seize the opportune moment to employ the magical magnifying glass on Moria. With anticipation coursing through your veins, you direct the glass towards her, its surface emanating a soft and subtle glow.

In that fleeting moment, an intriguing sight unfolds before your eyes. A shadowy cloak materializes around Moria, hinting at a shared affinity between the two of you. It becomes evident that she possesses the skill of stalking others, much like yourself. However, beyond this revelation, the magnifying glass divulges no further extraordinary traits or hidden abilities within her. She is, in essence, an ordinary human being, bereft of any remarkable powers.

As the magnifying glass completes its analysis, you observe one of the two remaining gems embedded within it dim and lose its radiant glow. Only a solitary gem now remains, a testament to the dwindling opportunities to uncover exceptional qualities among your comrades.

With the weight of uncertainty pressing upon you, you decide to employ the magical magnifying glass once again, this time focusing its gaze upon Rojak. As you direct the glass towards him, a soft and subtle glow emanates from its surface, enveloping both Rojak and the immediate surroundings.

Intriguing images unfold before your eyes, revealing glimpses of Rojak's unique attributes. Golden coins materialize, floating in the air around him, indicating his remarkable knack for effortlessly amassing valuable treasures. It is a skill that sets him apart, granting him a prowess in the realm of acquiring riches.

However, as you continue to observe, a disconcerting sight catches your attention. A wispy black mist lingers near Rojak, though it gradually dissipates over time. Before you can discern the origins or implications of this enigmatic mist, the images abruptly cease, and the magnifying glass no longer offers any further insights. The last gem embedded within it loses its luminosity, its once vibrant light replaced by a cold, dim glow.

It becomes apparent that Rojak has encountered the pretender today, but he himself is not the pretender. The magnifying glass, having exhausted its power, now remains rendered useless. It dawns upon you that unless you find a means to rekindle the dormant gems within the glass, its ability to reveal hidden truths will remain dormant as well, leaving you to face the challenges ahead without its invaluable assistance.

As you make your way out of the tomb, the path ahead intertwines with a fateful encounter. There, standing before you and Samson, is Moria, but something is dreadfully different about her.

Your survival instincts kick in, and you seize the opportunity to break away from Samson, who takes the pretender's attention and the chase ensues. The adrenaline coursing through your veins pushes you forward, propelling your body through the fog-shrouded surroundings. Each step is laced with urgency as you navigate the treacherous terrain, your mind racing with a mix of fear and determination.

While this is quite the account, I am afraid I must still question it. Jumeaux and I have been able to confirm an alibi for Moria for one of the nights of the murders, and now Celina has claimed to have accounted for her innocence via a magical device. While this eye witness account is very compelling, I am afraid the other accounts contradicting it don't add up. There is only one factor that I think could account for this discrepancy.

We know the Pretender to be a beast that can assume the form of another, and up until now we have assumed that it could only assume a single form. I think this may have been an incorrect assumption to make. If the Pretender's shapeshifting powers allowed it to imitate multiple forms it could easily have taken on Moria shape to perform the murder in order to cast suspicion upon her. I find this even more likely to be the case as this is the first account we have received of the Pretender attacking during daylight, or actually being sighted by anyone at all truly. For it to have thrown caution to the wind like this indicates to me there is some sort of ruse afoot.

To be safe, I used the same item on Rojak as I did Moria. While there is a darkness around him, it was fleeting, more as if he'd had a brush with the pretender than actually being it.

I find it likely that what Galandric says is true and I find it higgly unlikely that the pretender is either Moria or Rojak.

So far there are only two people who have not had their presence verified by others during one or more of the murder scenes, those two being Celina and Jumeaux. Currently Celina has been more involved in trying to clear other people, so I have my doubts it is her. Can we hear accounts from Celina and Jumeaux about what they were up to today when the murder of good Samson occurred?

Unfortunately I don't have a good a account of my whereabouts today as I did not go out, one of the few days I have not been exploring or resting up from nightly activities.

If we are torn between two of us, I am quite certain it is not me and trying to clear others wouldn't help me if it were, instead I would be piling on. I would like to hear what Jumeaux has to say for himself, though.

🎫Day 11 - Voting Result

As Celina diligently carries out her duty of collecting and tallying the votes, the names inscribed on each piece of paper are read aloud with unwavering precision. The tension in the air is palpable, as the fate of each soldier hangs in the balance.

Among the names that echo through the gathering, Moria's name resounds twice. A hush falls over the crowd as the realization sinks in. According to the predetermined rules, Moria's name falls short of the required four votes for condemnation. The weight of this realization grants her a reprieve, sparing her from the grim fate.

As you settle into your bed, exhaustion seeping into your bones, the events of the day swirl in your mind like an ethereal fog. From your vigilant pursuit of Tybalt, to the enigmatic figure that emerged from his fortified house, and the subsequent encounter with Rojak in the graveyard, it has been a day filled with tension and uncertainty.

As you close your eyes and let the comforting embrace of sleep envelop you, you hope that the respite of slumber will wash away the echoes of the day's events. Your weary body craves rest, and perhaps in the realm of dreams, the fog that shrouds your mind will lift, granting you moments of respite and tranquility.

With a gentle sigh, you surrender to the embrace of sleep, allowing the events of the day to fade into the shadows, and your consciousness drifts away into the realms of dreams, where mysteries and uncertainties intertwine in a dance of forgotten realities.

1.Enhanced night vision: Darkness will no longer impede your sight, allowing you to navigate and perceive your surroundings with ease. You can also see through any magical concealment.

Current Abilities(You need to successfully hunt a soldier in order to gather enough essence to change one of these):
1. Face-Shifting: The ability of face shifting allows you to assume the appearance of anyone you have encountered throughout the day. By adopting their visage, you can blend seamlessly among others. However, it is important to note that if you encounter the person whose appearance you have taken on, your face will revert back to its original form.
2. Enhanced Strength(Passive) - Fight better vs Well Armed.
3. Transformation(Passive) - Will use this form by default during hunt. You can choose not to use this form but must specify it.

Traits:

As you embark on your mission to stalk Jumeaux under the cover of the dense fog, your determination fuels your every step. With calculated precision, you position yourself near his house, ready to observe his every move. It is not long before the door of Jumeaux's dwelling creaks open, and a figure emerges into the night. The haze makes it challenging to discern the person's identity, but the urgency of their movements spurs you into action.

Swiftly, you give chase, the veil of black mist swirling around you once again. Undeterred by its presence, you press on, inhaling its mysterious essence as you pursue your quarry. However, this time, a change occurs, as a sharp pain jolts through your eyes. It is a fleeting discomfort, quickly overshadowed by a newfound clarity. Through the fog and darkness, your vision sharpens, revealing the surroundings with startling clarity.

In this newfound clarity, you behold the figure you have been tracking. It is Jumeaux himself, leading you right back to your own dwelling. Astonished, you witness him settle near your house, unknowingly becoming the object of your watchful gaze. Yet, you are not alone in this vigil. Two familiar faces, Celina and Moria, trail behind Jumeaux, each harboring their own motivations.

Quietly, you maneuver yourself into a position where you can observe all of them, unseen and unaffected by the fog. Their presence, unaware of your scrutiny, allows you to study their actions in secrecy. However, your focus is interrupted as another figure emerges from the distance, drawing your attention like a magnet.

With unwavering concentration, you train your gaze upon the newcomer, and slowly, their features become discernible. To your disbelief, it is Jumeaux once again. Confusion clouds your mind, for you have been trailing him all this time. Yet, before your eyes, the second Jumeaux's visage begins to distort and melt, his true form revealed. The pretender!

In a mesmerizing display, the pretender's body transforms, growing taller and broader, its features consumed by a cascade of thick black hair. Its eyes glow with an ominous golden hue as it surveys its surroundings. Without hesitation, it lunges towards Jumeaux, its sharp claws slashing through the air, sealing his fate. The pretender devours Jumeaux's head before vanishing into the night, leaving behind a lifeless shell.

The shock of the horrifying scene renders all of you speechless, each grappling with the reality before your eyes. As the gravity of the situation sinks in, you gather your composure and silently retreat to the sanctuary of your own home. The night has revealed its true terrors, and you vow to remain indoors until the safety of the morning light breaks through the dense fog.

With determination driving your every step, you embark on a mission to stalk Jumeaux under the cloak of night and the shroud of fog. Silently, you navigate the dimly lit streets, positioning yourself in close proximity to his dwelling. The darkness and haze create a challenge, obscuring your view of Jumeaux's actions. However, fortune smiles upon you as his door swings open, and an enigmatic figure emerges into the night.

Eager to ascertain if it is indeed Jumeaux, you commence the pursuit. The person moves with a hint of stealth, attempting to evade detection. Yet, their fumbling attempts at concealment do not elude your keen senses. Swiftly, you close the gap, trailing them until they reach Galandric's house. In a futile attempt, the person seeks refuge within a nearby bush, unaware of your presence. You quietly chuckle at their feeble concealment, secure in your vantage point, observing their every move without detection.

An hour passes, and a momentary respite gifts you with a clearing of the fog. In that fleeting glimpse, you confirm the identity of the figure you've been tracking—it is indeed Jumeaux. However, the fog quickly reclaims its dominion, veiling the surroundings once more. Amidst the encroaching mist, a looming figure approaches Jumeaux, commanding your attention. The realization dawns upon you—it is the pretender, the very being you have sought to unmask. Jumeaux, too, perceives the looming threat, but before either of you can react, the pretender strikes, its massive claws rending through the air. In one swift motion, Jumeaux's fate is sealed as the pretender claims him, biting off his head with brutal finality. The pretender vanishes into the obscurity of the fog, leaving you in a state of shock and disbelief.

The gravity of the encounter weighing heavily upon you, you make a swift retreat to the safety of your own abode. The events witnessed tonight have left an indelible mark, serving as a stark reminder of the peril that lurks within the depths of the fog.

Determined to gather crucial information, you embark on the mission to stalk Celina under the cloak of night and amidst the dense fog. Stealthily, you depart from your own dwelling, making your way towards her residence. However, upon arrival, you find that Celina has already departed. Undeterred, you search for any telltale signs that may lead you to her whereabouts.

Fortune favors you as faint footprints catch your discerning gaze. Silently, you track these footprints, intent on chasing after Celina. Soon, another set of footsteps resonates through the fog, emanating from somewhere ahead. With caution, you take cover behind a nearby house, blending into the shadows. As the figure approaches, their feeble attempts at concealment betray their lack of expertise. Scrutinizing the footprints, you conclude that this figure is not Celina, and silently resume your pursuit.

With renewed focus, you trace Celina's footsteps, discovering an intriguing development—a set of overlapping footprints atop her own. It becomes evident that Celina has been tailing the figure you encountered earlier. Swiftly altering your course, you follow these fresh tracks, determined to catch up with Celina. Through the dense fog, you strain to maintain pace, navigating the murky surroundings with tenacity.

Finally, Celina halts near Galandric's house, skillfully blending into a bush, where she remains concealed. You position yourself strategically, adopting a vantage point that allows you to blend into the environment while observing her movements. Motionless, you both bide your time for an hour until, as anticipated, a momentary respite clears the fog, revealing the truth—you have indeed been trailing Celina. However, a surprising revelation accompanies this sight—Jumeaux, positioned near a neighboring bush, observing the scene with an enigmatic air.

Yet, the fog swiftly reclaims its dominion, obscuring Jumeaux first then Celina. Before the mist fully descends, a looming figure emerges from the obscurity. Though you cannot discern the identity of this figure, it advances towards Jumeaux. Celina, closer to the unfolding scene, appears frozen in disbelief. Half an hour passes, and with deliberate composure, she rises from her hidden sanctuary and disappears into the fog. As dawn draws near, you choose to cease your surveillance of Celina and retreat to the safety of your own dwelling.

However, as you journey back, a chilling sight greets your eyes—a trail of blood staining the ground. A shiver runs down your spine as you contemplate the unsettling events that have transpired. Questions gnaw at your mind, demanding answers. What transpired in the depths of the fog?

🌫🌑

With the essence of Samson coursing through your veins, you make the fateful choice to embrace the shadows, relinquishing your enhanced strength in the process. As you attune yourself to the essence, a newfound affinity for stealth and elusiveness begins to awaken within you.

No longer will others easily detect your presence or sense your movements. The very shadows become your ally, shrouding you in their protective embrace. Sneaking upon you becomes an arduous task for those who dare to try, as you seamlessly blend into the darkness, elusive and enigmatic.

However, this transformation comes at a cost. The immense physical power that once coursed through your being is now diminished. No longer can you effortlessly overpower well-armed adversaries with brute force alone. Engaging in direct confrontations becomes a calculated endeavor, requiring finesse, strategy, and skill.

In your relentless pursuit of Celina, the stakes have reached a critical juncture. Aware of the dangerous artifact she possesses, capable of exposing your true identity, you harness your unique ability to seamlessly shift your face into the likeness of Jumeaux. Shrouded by the enveloping fog, you venture forth, determined to locate and neutralize Celina.

However, upon arriving at her dwelling, a disheartening realization dawns upon you—Celina has already departed, leaving her residence eerily vacant. Undeterred, you scour the ground for any traces, seeking the footprints that may provide a path to her whereabouts. In your pursuit, the footprints intertwine with numerous others, igniting the suspicion that Celina may be traversing in the company of others.

With unyielding determination, you persistently track the footsteps, tracing their course to Galandric's dwelling. Yet, the impenetrable fog obscures your vision, hindering any further revelations. As you pause to assess the situation, a disconcerting awareness washes over you—the unsettling feeling of being watched. Almost instantaneously, your visage undergoes a nightmarish transformation, contorting and melting as it strives to revert to your true form. Reacting swiftly, you embrace your beastly guise, triggering a momentary retreat of the dense fog. Nonetheless, a lingering ache within your face serves as a grim reminder of Jumeaux's presence nearby.

Alert and poised for action, you scan your surroundings, swiftly identifying Jumeaux concealed amidst the dense foliage near Galandric's abode. His attempt at stealth thwarted by your perceptiveness, you close the distance between you in a flurry of motion. With calculated precision, you deliver a slashing blow, rendering him defenseless as he falls to his knees. Seizing the opportunity, you bring an end to his existence by severing his head, claiming his essence as your own.

Having accomplished your grim task, you hastily depart from the scene, the fog cloaking your movements and concealing your presence once more. The hunt continues, driven by a relentless pursuit of your ultimate goal.
