Message sent to Pretender Game (6 recipients)

As the dawn arrives Galandric furtively peeks around from side to side then emerges from the bushes. "I live another day." He says with a sigh of relief. "Unfortunately it seems we were not all so lucky." He waits for the others to emerge from their homes.

"Comrades the the beast has struck again." He said, making no hesitation to point at Tybalt as he spoke. "Rojak, you were hesitant to vote with us on this before but you witnessed the same as I last night, for I saw you there with me as we stalked Tybalt's home. You saw there were two of me in the night, as well as Moria. If it is not obvious by now, the only way that makes any sense is if one of the two Galandric's was in fact the Pretender in disguise." He explained. "This means when you saw the two Galandrics, you actively had been seeing the Pretender at that time. Since you saw both me and Moria there as well at that time, you can have 100% certainty that neither her nor I are in fact the Pretender. The Pretender has to be someone who was not thereat that moment yesterday."

He pulled up a hand and held up three fingers. "That leaves the following options for who it can be. One is Hana." He gestured toward her wrent asunder corpse. "We can rule that one out pretty quickly. The second is Richard. All evidence Moria and I have collected indicate it is NOT is fact Richard. I am unsure why he thinks its Moria, but regardless of his reasons for voting for her I don't believe he is the Pretender." He held up a third finger. "The last option is Tybalt, who Moria and I have found a great deal of evidence is in fact the Pretender. I would ask if given all this evidence, will you vote with us against Tybalt today?" He stopped and waited to hear Rojak's response.

So Galandric or Moria struck at Hana last night. She was quiet but innocent.

Rojak, do not be stirred by Galandrics little speech. They continue to try to frame me for their killings.

You know Richard has a mask that allowed him to appear as Galandric. That was not me in some pretender disguise like they claim.

I awaited in my home guarding myself near my traps waiting for anyone to try to step inside. If you all stalked near my home last night (instead of staying in safe like I urged) then you know well no one came in or out of my home last night.

We have a full day to take action against Moria and Galandric. What can we do to keep

ourselves safe until the next voting phase?

I too will vote for Galandric.

Richard are you with us? Shall we execute Galandric during the voting this evening? The three of us hold the majority.

👽

Available Essence: 1

You can always choose to do one of the special actions over your regular night actions(for soldiers). Choose one of the following abilities(Pretender Lv3 - Fully Grown)(Use an essence point to switch an existing ability or use it to gain a trait):

1. Magical Camouflage: Soldiers can no longer use magic to reveal your identity
2. Demolisher: You gain exceptional skills in dismantling structures and disabling traps. Fortified houses and traps will no longer pose a significant obstacle for you.
3. Expand an ability slot: Invest in yourself.
4. Bountiful Harvest: You gain 2 essences per hunt(But Mind Control will still prevent you from gaining any essence)
5. Conjure Nightmare: Soldiers will no longer be able to sleep until the end(they will not be able to sleep at night)

Current Abilities(You need to successfully hunt a soldier in order to gather enough essence to change one of these):
1. Mind Control: Mind Control: With your extraordinary ability, you possess the power to manipulate the minds of those you encounter. Upon successfully subduing a target, you gain control over their thoughts and actions for a limited time(For 1 turn - You can make the person repeat a word or an action of your choice). Will turn into a corpse once the time is up.
2. Embrace the Shadows: Your presence becomes elusive in the cover of night, making it increasingly difficult for others to detect you. (Hide Out and Stalking attempts against you will be significantly less effective)
3. Transformation(Passive) - Will use this form by default during hunt. You can choose not to use this form but must specify it.

Traits:
1. CURSED - Choose who you wish to curse(Choosing your successor).

2. Observant - Pick a soldier to learn details. Combined with Enhanced Smell, you will learn even more details.

🌩 Seizing the opportunity presented by Tybalt's departure, you remain concealed near his house, ready to enact your plan. The thunderstorm rages on, its relentless downpour obscuring your surroundings and making the task at hand even more challenging. Undeterred, you carefully survey the area, searching for any hidden traps that might thwart your efforts.

Despite the adverse weather conditions, luck is on your side as you spot Tybalt's trap upturned in a muddy puddle near his house. Swiftly disarming it, you proceed with your mission to dismantle his fortifications. Rain-soaked and determined, you diligently work to remove the planks obstructing his windows and door, hoping to weaken his defensive measures.

However, as time slips away, the daylight hours dwindle, and Tybalt's return to his house draws near. Regrettably, you are unable to fully complete the task of dismantling his fortification before he arrives. Sensing the urgency, you swiftly retreat from the scene, leaving the unfinished job behind. The cover of darkness may provide another opportunity for you to return to Tybalt's house and continue your efforts.

🌩 Determined to seek assistance from the traveling witch, you make your way through the labyrinthine corridors of the ruined palace. The atmosphere is heavy with a sense of mystery and anticipation as you traverse the long passageways, guided by your instinct and the flickering light of your torch.

Finally, you arrive at a grand room adorned with exquisite doors. As you approach, the doors gracefully swing open, as if beckoning you inside. Stepping into the room, you find yourself surrounded by opulence and splendor, the air filled with an otherworldly ambiance. And there, before you, stands the enchanting figure of the traveling witch, resplendent in her ornate dress and wielding a white staff.

With a welcoming smile, the witch invites you to join her, and you take a seat in her presence, your heart brimming with a mixture of curiosity and trepidation. As you offer her your clues and valuables, she carefully examines each item, her eyes filled with a wisdom beyond mortal comprehension. It becomes clear that she possesses knowledge crucial to your quest.

Drawing upon her supernatural insights, the witch reveals a shocking truth—the pretender you seek is among those who inspected Samson's body on Day 12. Their failed attempt to eliminate Richard led to the ruthless murder of Celina, with her lifeless body manipulated as a haunting presence near Richard's house. The witch's revelations shed light on the pretender's cunning tactics and the danger they pose to your ranks.

In addition, the witch discloses that Moria has fallen victim to the pretender's curse. However, the moon trinket she gifted you has the power to cure her, preventing further curses from befalling her. It is revealed that Galandric, having been cursed before Moria, has already been cured by her intervention.

Before you depart from the palace, the witch imparts a final message, urging you to gather more clues to seek her aid once again if needed. She assures you that one of the soldiers possesses sufficient clues to unlock further guidance from her vast well of knowledge.

Armed with newfound insights and a mission to cure Moria, you exit the palace, the weight of responsibility resting upon your shoulders. The path ahead is challenging, but with the witch's guidance, you have a renewed sense of purpose and determination in your pursuit of the pretender.

🌩 Braving the relentless thunderstorm, you embark on a mission to seek the support of the locals who have proven their loyalty and willingness to aid you in your quest. Cloaked in the protection of your sturdy garment, you navigate the rain-soaked streets, determination fueling your every step.

As you arrive at the gathering place of the locals, their warm reception immediately envelops you. Their faces bear the scars of their own struggles, and a shared understanding passes between you. Seeking solace and respite from the elements, you gratefully accept the offering of a steaming bowl of soup. The warmth seeps into your weary bones, rejuvenating your spirit.

Amidst the comforting atmosphere, you begin to share your experiences and concerns with the locals. Their empathetic nods and attentive gazes assure you that you are not alone in your battle against the pretender. They recount their own encounters with the malevolent force, exchanging stories of resilience and survival.

In the midst of your conversation, Tybalt approaches the locals, greeted with a mixed reception. While they maintain civility, their warmth is reserved for you, the familiar face they have come to trust. Your eyes meet Tybalt's briefly, but a sense of tension lingers in the air, keeping you both at a distance.

Before nightfall, you bid farewell to the locals, their gratitude palpable as they bestow upon you generous gifts. They have gathered invaluable information about the pretender's race, a treasure trove of knowledge to aid you in your mission. Alongside the precious clues, they have provided you with materials to fortify your house, ensuring your safety and resilience.

With their trust firmly established, the locals pledge their unwavering support whenever you choose to visit them. Their generosity extends to precious valuables, tokens that can be used to compensate the traveling witch for her invaluable assistance.

Returning to your house, accompanied by Tybalt, you maintain a cautious distance, preserving your trust only for those proven to be allies. As you survey the gifts bestowed upon you, a glimmer of hope ignites within your heart. The combined support of the locals and the knowledge they have shared, coupled with your fortifications and resources, strengthens your resolve to bring an end to the pretender's reign of terror.

🌩 Determined to aid the locals in their time of need, you brave the relentless thunderstorm, making your way through the rain-soaked streets to their gathering place. As you arrive, you spot Moria already in their midst, embraced by the warmth and hospitality of the locals.

The locals welcome you as well, though their reception is more reserved compared to the embrace they offer Moria. Aware that trust takes time to cultivate, you set out to befriend them, sharing stories, lending a listening ear, and offering your assistance in any way you can.

Throughout the day, you engage in conversations, building connections and finding common ground. Your genuine efforts to understand and support the locals begin to bear fruit, as their initial wariness begins to fade, replaced by a growing sense of acceptance and camaraderie.

While Moria is showered with various gifts from the locals, you do not receive any tangible offerings. However, the significance lies not in material possessions, but in the relationships forged and the trust earned. The locals, though perhaps not as openly expressive with you as they are with Moria, express their appreciation and encourage you to return in the future.

When you come back from mingling with the locals, you notice something odd about your house. There are marks of forced entry on the doors and windows, as if someone had attempted to break in. You also spot a smashed trap near your house, which you had set up for security. It seems that an intruder had targeted your house while you were away.

👽As you rest on your bed, a sense of foreboding fills the air, and you become acutely aware of a peculiar presence in your surroundings. The room, once familiar and comforting, takes on an eerie aura as the dark mist seeps in through every crevice and opening. It swirls and coils, gradually enveloping the space around you, until you find yourself encased within its ethereal grasp.

The black mist, which you have come to recognize all too well, permeates the very essence of your being. With each breath, it penetrates your body, infusing you with its enigmatic power. As it settles within you, a transformation begins to unfold. You feel a surge of energy coursing through your veins, as the souls of those the pretender has hunted find their place within you. The essences harvested from Kiran, Lexis, Samson, Jumeaux, and Hana, grant you their experiences, strengths, and fears.

In the recesses of your mind, Tybalt the Pretender's memories emerge, revealing the abilities that once made him a formidable figure within the city. The knowledge of his past deeds, now intertwined with your own, grants you access to his powers, enabling you to wield them as your own.

Realization dawns upon you, as you understand the significance of this transformation. With the powers of the fallen soldiers and Tybalt's formidable abilities at your command, you have become a force to be reckoned with. Only two more soldiers stand between you and your goal of overpowering the last one and resuming your relentless pursuit of the locals.

However, this newfound power comes with the need for adjustment and mastery. You acknowledge the importance of allowing the mist to fully merge with your being, allowing you to harness its full potential. Tonight, you must rest, allowing the mist to permeate every fiber of your being, becoming one with it, and assimilating the powers that now reside within you.

As you lie in bed, surrounded by the encroaching mist, you close your eyes, surrendering yourself to the transformative process. You understand that when the dawn breaks, you will awaken as a changed being, ready to continue your hunt with renewed vigor and a formidable arsenal of abilities at your disposal.

🌩🌑 Determined to confront Moria, the potential pretender, you brave the relentless downpour and howling winds. The thunderstorm's fury creates a challenging environment as you make your way to her house. Patiently, you wait outside, anticipating her emergence and planning to confront her when she least expects it. However, it becomes apparent that Moria has chosen to remain indoors for the day, thwarting your initial plan.

Adapting to the situation, you decide to take matters into your own hands and break into her house. As you approach, a peculiar phenomenon catches your attention. The moon trinket you received from Moria begins to flicker in response to your proximity. Each flicker unveils glimpses of the ominous black mist seeping out from within her house. As you draw nearer, the trinket intensifies its glow until, unexpectedly, it explodes with a burst of blinding light, propelling you away from the premises.

Disoriented but quick to react, you realize the gravity of the situation and swiftly retreat to the safety of your own home. Hastily securing the door behind you, you contemplate the significance of the trinket's reaction and the enigma that surrounds Moria's dwelling. It becomes evident that caution and further investigation are necessary to unravel the mysteries that lie within her abode.
