Back in the distance past when the blood of Man was great, great deeds were done both Good and Evil. This artifact was a bit of both. The club itself seems a bit unremarkable except for the crystal shards that stick out all along its length. The shards themselves are so sharp, that the slightest touch causes cuts like a razor. It takes a conscious effort on the wounded party to staunch the flow of blood. Long are the tales of old about those individuals who have wielded it. Tales of Heroic stands and great Evil deeds abound in the distant past.

The last tale was of a minor Noble who used the club to destroy a group of Bandits that had been raiding his lands. In the last battle, the bandit group showered the Noble's hunting party with arrows wounding the Noble. After the battle was over, it was discovered that the Noble had hit himself with the club when he instinctively reached for the arrow that hit his leg. Forgetting the ruthless nature of the weapon, the Noble bleed to death before the Healers could do anything for him. The club was buried with the Noble in an unmarked grave to protect him and his items from grave robbers.

It is Borella's hope that the Undead Champion she fought and killed in Larodais was not the same Nobleman that died protecting his land and people.
