After weeks of chasing sages and gathering resources in service of the nobility of Sint, Tristan decided it was time to go hunting again. With the gold earned from his services he had purchased much better equipment, and now would be a good opportunity to test the quality. Starting in Hirzmet, close to his home, Tristan soon tracked down a trail of undead. It lead to a cave connected to a large underground area, which he knew from his previous hunts. There were numberous groups undead, and it seemed like they were organizing for something huge. As Tristan progressed deeper in the underground tunnels, slaying several more groups of undead, he reached the lair of an undead champion. Filled with thirst for adventure he had missed, Tristan attacked the champion head on. He battled the champion with great fury, using his knowledge of the caverns to his advantage. A great thrust of Tristan's sword put and end to the undead menace, and as soon as the champion fell to the ground, Tristan's eye fell on the blade it had used. A description in ancient language hinted that this could very well be the Long-Lost Nightblade of Doom.
Upon his return to the surface, Tristan sought confirmation by a wise sage, who told him about the tales of the blade, how it was wielded by an old corrupt king of Irombro who caused the downfall of the realm during the first invasion. The subject carries a lot of weight and brings forth a lot of emotion still in the southern realms. After the fall of Irombro, the Nightblade of Doom was lost in the invasion that overwhelmed Beluaterra. Until now, and the question stands who will continue its legacy...
