Roleplay from Hernfelk Lapallanch (just sent) Message sent to everyone in your realm (41 recipients) A storm battered ship slowly entered the harbour of Barad Falas. As soon as the ship stopped, people began to unload cargo and passengers. Hernfelk, who didn't have much with him, quickly got off the ship with his squire 'Murok' and headed into the city which gave birth to the name 'Falasan', a long forgotten name that once shook the continent. Hernfelk sent Murok ahead of him to find an inn for them to stay for a night before visiting the lord of the city to be knighted. Murok soon returned, but instead of returning with the location of an inn, he returned with interesting news. Murok - "Sir, there is a tournament being held near Barad Falas. Actually just across the lake." Hernfelk - "Across the lake?" Murok - "Yes. Kingdom of Eston is holding a tournament at the moment." Hernfelk - "Really? Then let's go get ourselves horses! I am eager to meet nobles of this continent." Murok - "But what about meeting the lord of the city?" Hernfelk - "That can wait! Now go get some horses!" They soon rode off to a nearby city where a tournament was being held. |
Chapter 15.1
Roleplay from Hernfelk Lapallanch (just sent) Message sent to everyone in your realm (39 recipients) A shadowy figure moved quietly under the shadows cast by fences surrounding a village in Chato. The figure stopped abruptly after spotting a town guard behind a tree. The guard was holding a dying torch. As the time passed in silence, the light from the torch dimmed even more until the guard began to move to somewhere. The figure quickly approached the guard from the behind. As the figure raised his right hand, the guard turned around, but it was too late for the guard to stop anything. By the time he saw the right hand, something covered his mouth from his left while something sharp passed through his neck. In a couple minutes, the guard was thrown into the closest well from the place where he was attacked by the figure. The moon, which was hiding behind the sea of clouds, showed itself for a brief moment. Coincidentally, the figure also briefly removed his cover at the same time, revealing his blond hair. His brown eyes gazed upon his next victims. His next target was a small group of five guards. While two were on top of a watch tower, the rest were sitting close by a camp fire near the tower where they set up a small tent for themselves. Hernfelk waited patiently in a bush until one of the guards began to walk toward him. The guard stopped just before his bush and lowered his pants. Hernfelk quickly rose up and dragged the guard into the bush. Before the guard could scream, Hernfelk hit him with the pommel of his dagger, knocking them men unconscious then quickly broke his neck. He then switched his clothes with the guard's then returned to the tower. People near the fire were half asleep. Hernfelk looked upward to see the two men up on the watch tower but they seem to be too busy talking to each other. He quietly offered the guards near the fire to sleep in the tent. The guards nodded to accept Hernfelk's offer and asked him to help them get to the tent. As soon as they entered the tent, they both were put to sleep which they would never wake from. When Hernfelk got out from the tent, one of the guards from the tower approached him. Guard - "It's your turn. I am going to get some sleep." As the guard lowered his upper body to enter the small tent, Hernfelk stabbed the man from the back. The guard fell into the tent bleeding and screaming. Before the guard could scream loudly enough for the other guard on the tower to be warned, Hernfelk finished his job, ending the man's life. He then climbed up the ladder connecting the tower and ground to silence the lone guard standing there. As Hernfelk climbed down from the tower, another guard approached him from the bush he came out from. The guard looked tired from his night shift and Hernfelk granted him his well earned rest. |
Chapter 15.2
Roleplay from Hernfelk Lapallanch (just sent) Message sent to everyone in your realm (39 recipients) Just before dawn, Thyk visited Hernfelk again. He, however, could not even reach Hernfelk as he was spotted by town guards even before he reached his target. Hernfelk immediately chased after him with the guards. The guards gave up rather soon as they did not care much about a foreign noble, but Hernfelk already decided to teach this inexperienced fool a lesson. After chasing Thyk for almost an hour - almost losing him a couple times, Hernfelk finally cornered him. The figure he has chased from his sleeping quarter entered his quarter through a small door. It was too dark to tell if the figure really was Thyk, but Hernfelk believed his instinct. Hernfelk quietly entered the quarter through the door the figure just used. It was easy from that point one. Hernfelk quickly found Thyk's quarter and sneaked into the room holding his dagger. Thyk woke up just before Hernfelk's dagger pierced his heart, but he was too slow to stop him. Hernfelk - "He wasn't this slow when I visited him yesterday." Hernfelk, out of curiosity, checked his victim's face. It was a face of an old man, someone he has seen before but not Thyk. His victim was someone with a good reputation. The reputation good enough to make people put a hefty sum of gold on his head. Hernfelk - "Escent Noble! Why is he here? Why is he sleeping in Thyk's quarter? Could it be they switched their quarters? But why?" Hernfelk wondered for a few minutes, but he soon gave up and took Escent's sword with him to prove his deed to claim Escent's bounty. By the time he left Chato, his pocket was full of gold - enough to feed himself for a year. |

Roleplay from Hernfelk Lapallanch (just sent) Message sent to everyone in your realm (39 recipients) A cloaked messenger approached to deliver a message to Hernfelk. Messenger - "Sir Hernfelk, I am one of the prince's messengers. I have come here on my own accord and wish to hire your experts skills to serve our soon to be crowned prince. Hernfelk shook his head sideways. Hernfelk - "You came here on your own? Why would I accept your offer when you are not even a noble? I have no time to waste a servant. Be gone." After saying those words, Hernfelk walked away from the messenger. |

Hernfelk quickly pulled his dagger from under his pillow and dressed quickly. When he was ready, someone knocked on his door. Hernfelk gripped his dagger with his right hand tightly and opened the door with his left while putting one of his foot against the door in case the person who knocked on his door was not a guard. As Hernfelk opened his door, the person outside spoke. It was a familiar voice. Guard - "Sir, we have captured someone who tried to sneak into your quarter." Hernfelk - "I think I know who that is. Lead me to him." The guard and Hernfelk moved down the hallway until they joined a group of guards who were interrogating a man. Hernfelk could immediately tell who it was. He couldn't possibly mistake someone he visits at night whenever he could. Hernfelk - "Look at who it is. I knew you would end up like this, Sir Thyk. I understand your desire to see my blood, but I'd never thought you'd be this persistent. Unlike me, you have people waiting for you in the closest city from Nazgorn. I am sure many Silnarian nobles will be pleased to see you in person so I won't keep you here long. Guards, tie him up and send him to Barad Falas. Make sure to tie him up tightly so he won't even think about escaping. |
Chapter 15.5
Roleplay from Hernfelk Lapallanch (just sent) Message sent to everyone in your realm (31 recipients) When the sun began to set and the sky turned dark, Hernfelk got off his chair which he had been sitting on for hours. He has been waiting today ever since he escaped the Silnarian prison. Why was he put into behind the bars in the first place? Services he provided for his liege, the King! When he first heard of the rebellion, he hurried back from the tournament of Talerium to assist him king. By the time he returned to Barad Falas, a battle had already taken place. All the doors and windows of houses along the streets of the city were shut tight and they were shut for a good reason. Dead bodies of Silnarian soldiers could be found easily anywhere. Hernfelk quietly wandered around the city to acquire more information and after overhearing several conversations, he could get a brief sense of what was going on. It was an opportunity like no other. A chance to get even more gold! One of the leaders of the rebellion was a walking pile of gold and Hernfelk was not planning to miss such prize. He quickly entered his target's sleeping quarter and before his target even opened his eyes, he was already walking out of the room with a grin on his face. After receiving his payment, Hernfelk quickly left the city to return to the tournament. But after a day, he returned to the city again to visit another noble. This time it was the rebel leader himself. The man who disbanded the defending troops of Barad Falas, making everything easier for Hernfelk to do his job. Before the night ended, another noble planted his face against the floor. Unfortunately, Hernfelk was captured while getting his payment. His hard earned gold was taken from him unjustly by a mad woman who calls herself 'High Justice'. She told Hernfelk what he could expect in the coming days. Hernfelk quickly realized she was not interested in anything but satisfying her sadistic nature. Too bad for her, Hernfelk was not a masochist and he would rather avoid seeing his own blood. Before the sun rose, Hernfelk quickly broke out of his cell and escaped the prison. Silnarian prison guards, famous for their incompetence, tried to stop him but it was nothing Hernfelk couldn't deal with. As soon as he escaped, Hernfelk warned Arke to watch her back but Arke seemed to have ignored the warning rather quickly. When he heard of Arke visiting Anost, He quickly chased after her and finally, after a full day of chase, Hernfelk found a great place where he could watch Arke and wait for his chance. That is why he has been sitting in one place for hours. But the time has come for him to finally do what he has planned weeks ago. Now the hunt begins and this time he is the hunter! Before the night ended, Hernfelk left Anost with a big laughter. |
Chapter 15.6
Roleplay from Hernfelk Lapallanch (just sent) Message sent to everyone in your realm (41 recipients) As the sun set, Hernfelk approached Margrave Claudius's sleeping quarter. The city was full of soldiers and guards, most of them actively patrolling streets of Shanandoah in case Minas Leonians tried to attack the city. Closer he got to the self-claimed prince of Silnara's sleeping quarter, increasingly difficult his task became. When he finally managed to sneak past 1600 men, he could see the sleeping prince. As Hernfelk raised his dagger, the prince opened his eyes but unfortunately for him, Hernfelk sank his dagger deep into him before he could even assess the situation he was in. As Hernfelk walked quietly out of the room, he saw someone disappearing around the corner of the hallway which led to the guard's quarter. Before he could escape, guards surrounded the sleeping quarter, blocking all exits. Soon, heavily armed guards flooded into the quarter, led by a woman. Woman - "It's him! I saw him entering his lordship's room!" Hernfelk - "It seems there is no way out. Yes, it was I, Hernfelk, who hunted Claudius. Take me away to the High Justice." |
