My father held the throne of Southasland longer than any other King, and he was the last living Prince of Hasland - a title given by Hasland's King and High Protector Boeth before his surrender to Norland. This unique honor has now been passed to me, along with the stories of that once mighty empire that is now nothing but a faded memory.

While I do not expect to replace my father, I will take his place as a defender of the Kingdom.
