The Giggling Buckler of the Sun was discovered by the guild Liber Alchemical. It came into the possession of Ehrich Weisz, Emperor of the Shattered Vales who then gifted it to Jecht Tideweaver. This shield enhanced Jecht's skill already considerable skill in jousting to the point he became the most famous jouster on the continent of Beluaterra.
