Fontan Military Structure

All Fontan nobles who are able to command a unit (excluding traders) and who are not an elected council member fall under the jurisdiction of the Military Command of Fontan.

The General working together with the FMA manages the armies of the realm. All nobles assigned to an army report to their Marshal or SiC. Nobles without an army report directly to the General.

Paraphernalia requirements

* Scouts: 1 Scout for every 10 men in the unit
* Healers: 1 Healer for every 20 men in the unit
* Carts: 1 Cart for every 20 men in the unit
* Banners: 1 Banner for every 20 men in the unit
* Siege Engines: Army specific consult your Marshal

Armies of Fontan

Listed below are the current armies of Fontan.

Democratic Guards (|DG|)
The oldest army on the East Island, the Democratic Guards were formed by then Chancellor Gregor Relak to provide for the defense of the Democracy so cherished by the people of Fontan. The army was again founded by Lord Basilius after the Tyranny of Gregor and Alexi forced the DG to disolve. It served Fontan honorably, until it was again lost when the city of Oligarch was transfer to Westmoor. Lord Jon Paul and Lord Basilius again revived her to serve as another elite army of Fontan and supplement the Lions.

Fontan Strike Regiment (~=FSR=~)
The Fontan Strike Regiment was formerly an elite military unit of Fontan during the Caligus War. However, it has been resurrected by Duke Alexi Pelevin and Lord Lorrie Furion Archbane and is now a front line army of Fontan. The FSR takes pride in it's discipline, loyalty and courage it displays at all times, whether defending the heartland or striking deep into enemy territory. The Regiment is currently accepting all new members.

Lions (~=K.D.F.=~)
Originally started by Lord Sulliven Koga, The Lions have taken their place in Legends of Fontan.

Order of the Thunder (OoT)
A long known name in the traditional Fontan military history. First deployed against Avamar and Kazakh. Then reviwed by General Teshup in the Oligarchian war and reformed as an army to defend Fontan against all invaders.

Fontan Rangers (|FR|)
Created by Lord Lorrie Furion Archbane as a small elite branch of the FSR whose original purpose was to aid in border defense and to respond to enemy incursions with coordinated raids into their own lands. The Rangers have since grown into a full army of Fontan.

Flow Administrators
Created by Duke Elberan of Ashforth to centralize Fontan's bureaucratic and infiltrator efforts.
