The original tale of discovery is long lost, all that is known is that the instrument was found by an adventurer in Valldir, whom did not share any details and soon sold it to the Raven King Helm for a pittance.
The latter gifted it to Arbitrator Benji after the sale of the Ring of Dukes. The flute was repaired by three different sages and even improved upon!
Benji soon after sailed from Arnor to Luria Nova, during the time on ships he whittled away at the flute.
The long and slender flute is carved from a sand colored wood, somewhat crooked and static to the touch. The sound is off, and only merry tavern tunes seem able to come out right. Imagery is carved upon it in a scrolling fashion, depicting a raft with sail being manned by animals, among others a bear, large beaked bird, a pinguïn, a pipe smoking otter and a green hippo. They make merry and feast upon stacks of pancakes.
