Origins
The writing on the weapon is rather difficult to read, years of neglect and dubious whereabouts have erased some of the writing. The language used seems an ancient form of the current language and not all words can be easily deciphered. However, the bit and pieces of the story tell a tale of glory, cruelty and betrayal. The item used to be so sought after that it 'betrayed' the owner (it was usually their friends). The item adds grandeur and the bearer actually seems of larger stature and fearsome look to the people nearby.
