Barca's Declaration of War - Winter of 18 YD

Fellow rulers,

Barca has observed the actions of Kabrinskia, and been subject them ourselves, and the resultant, prevailing opinion here in Barca is that Kabrinskia is a realm that does not respect the sovereignty of other realms, it certainly does not respect the borders of other realms, and it is without a doubt that Kabrinskia does not care for international law, treaties and relations.

The Grandmistress of Kabrinskia herself is guilty of these actions on all counts; she has shown through her own antics that she does not care to abide by the wishes and borders of the realms around her, and does not care to be held responsible when she violates both, she clearly shows herself to further be unrepentant with an attitude of complete belligerence and borderline mockery of all involved. Terran declared war as a defensive measure to ensure and protect the integrity of its borders, have exhausted all other diplomatic options to try and make Kabrinskia restrain itself and respect the sovereignty of the Terran Republic, and it is clear that Kabrinskia is a warmongering realm, or if nothing else, an intolerable realm that uses belligerence and disrespect as its common language and currency in foreign relations.

The decision is unanimous here in Barca; we will support Terran in a war against Kabrinskia, and we wholly consider a war on Kabrinskia to be justified and in the interests of the Barcan Republic, we ourselves have suffered the disrespect and violation enacted by the Grandmistress, and we have seen her act against our neighbours in the same manner. Our mandate in this war, shall be to support the defensive, and offensive actions of the Terran Republic, to bring about a reasonable conclusion to war in which the Kabrinski state is brought to accountability for its international violation of treaties, borders and sovereignty.
