History Little is known of who possessed the Ducal compendium over the years, its past masters were mysterious and no doubt shady. The first public and well known appearance of the Ducal compendium came when it was awarded as a prize for the Luria Nova Second Dueling League. The prize was won by Baelric Aboolio, who flaunted the long mysterious tome about proudly and showed it off to all his friends and family. Instead of reading it's secrets and unraveling the silent arts of the infiltrator Baelric instead strapped the compendium to the top of one of his banners as a trophy of his deeds and would occasionally bash enemies with it in battle.
