Background

Found by the adventurer Ariania, the history of this weapon is spoken of in whispers and scraps of legends. The Doomed Sabre of Flame it was called, said to burst into flames in battle, and the weapon held by many a champion during his valiant last stand against overwhelming odds. The history books speak of it differently, for the only flames that appear on the weapon are the stylized engravings across the entire length of the blade, and in the shape of the hilt. The histories also speak of the many successful battles its previous owners fought in, but eventually, even the best warriors lose a battle...

The last owner of this blade, once a general in life and a general again in undeath, fought tenaciously to hold onto his most prized possession. However, he fell against the skills and tactics of Ariania, as she battled his army through the gullies and hills of Chocxal. With his destruction, the few remaining undead soldiers who had once served him in life returned to the peace of death.
