Hamwise, stupidly fighting for his life yet again, ended up pulling this mace out of the chest cavity of an evil undead champion. Just in time too as he had sunk his sword into a different zombie and couldn't get it out.
Swinging the mace in a gore-filled arc, he crashed it into the side of the undead's face smashing the top of the skull from the rest of the head. The evil glow disappeared from the creatures eyes and it fell to the ground.
Hamwise then cleaned the grime and filth off the mace and discovered an interesting weapon. It was the quietly noted Doomed Mace of Slaying.
