The Doomed Helmet is a strange construction of green metal with an impenetrable translucent faceguard. Intermittent openings around the faceguard serve to allow airflow into the helmet to cool the user. The rumors around the fabled object is that it belonged to a warrior from the stars who was known simply as the Slayer. The Slayer had told tales of vanquishing Daimons and wielded strange weapons, like a sword that moved and a staff that shot fire. His time in this world was short, as the tale goes that he fought his way through a horde of Daimons during an invasion on Beluaterra and entered a portal into their hellish realm. His helmet, evidently, was left behind though.
It was rediscovered by an adventurer named Cedreic in the city of Paisly on Dwilight.
