He began his career in the family's homeland Falasan and became a knight of Tucha, the city closest to his home in Cori. Alexius early on moved to Beluaterra in the Republic of Fronen. He was then appointed Count of Seven Rivers where he busily brought new recruits Flumen Longbows and Septem Shortswords into the Fronen Army. Alexius serves now to build up Fronen as it is an economic powerhouse. Recently, Alexius has become a knight of the "Path of the great Dragon" religion. Alexius has always been the favored of the three Desyrr brothers. He is scholarly in history, and an accomplished with a saber.

Alexius has helped in the Fronen-Avalon war, a war which won Fronen two regions and set a limit to the size of Avalon's military. Alexius had also fought with Fronen's forces in southern Riombara. Currently, Alexius is no longer Count of Seven Rivers, but has been appointed Count of Trottie. As Count of Trottie he sent bushels of food to the neglected city of Mhed and barely kept the city form starvation.

Alexius played a significant role in the Fronen rebellion of January '07. At first Alexius tried to be a mediator in the conflict between Apothes-Epaminonda-Cedric and Grimbaldus-Krider-Enzeru. When Krider stepped down, Alexius was elected Grand Justiciar of Fronen. Within a day though, Grimbaldus began a rebellion. This event moved Alexius from a neutral party in the event to a supporter of the Apothes-Epaminonda-Cedric caucus. Alexius joined the Loyalists. Alexius was furious when the Prime Minister Enzeru, his former liegelord stepped down and gave in to the rebels. Alexius was a highly vocal opponent of Grimbaldus' regime. Because of this Alexius decided to start a counter-rebellion. The turn before the great assault on the capital was to begin Alexius was wounded by an infiltrator. Within an hour, Grimbaldus too was attacked by an infiltrator. This left Alexius in an odd situation. Krider, then Grand Justiciar stepped down. As a result, Cedric was elected Prime Minister and Alexius was elected as Grand Justiciar in Fronen.

As Grand Justiciar, Alexius banished all rebels. He also tortured and executed the rebel leader Grimbaldus. Alexius tried to capture the traitorous Enzeru Bakos too, but after a long chase, Enzeru eluded Alexius' grasp. Also Alexius left the Cavalier class and became a bureaucrat to better suit his position as Grand Justiciar. He diffused some minor domestic and international issues. Alexius was a supporter of Perrin Goldeneyes for Finance Minister over Apothes in that whole political debacle. Alexius in total was Grand Justiciar for 4-5 months from the end of Black January, to the end of May 1007. He had an impressive career and was respected and praised upon his resignation from that office.

Now Alexius is Duke of Mhed. He was appointed temporary Duke of Mhed when the Duke Tiridius left. Tiridius was to be given the city back but upon Duke Adras of Fronepu's ascenion to the position of Prime Minister, an opening was made for Duke of Fronepu. Tiridius took that instead and Alexius became permanent Duke of Mhed.
