Aeron looked at Haide's letter and smiled. He penned his reply and handed it off to the scribe to send. "Captain, you have instructions." The young Captain Luisa snapped into a salute "Yes Sire, the Dawn Guard shall answer the Marshal's orders and the preparations you wanted made for the Marshal shall be carried out when they arrive." Aeron nodded and stood from his desk, walking over to the shining suit of armor that stood in it's glass case. He opened the case and took the armor from it's stand, dressing himself in his armor he took the circlet from it's resting place.

The silver circlet had a blue gem set in it's center, the circlet of the Prince of Silver Fountains. He had not worn it since the Civil War, he placed it upon his brow and nodded again to the Captain. "I shall return within the week, then we sail north. This is our war, the Goldorans shan't suffer for our sake."

The Captain gave Aeron a worried look as the young Daubeny stormed out of the room, making his way to the stables he quickly mounted up and rode from the Manor of the Sparkling Gem towards Itau.

He had been selfish to dare to ask the Goldorans to fight for him, they had no stake in the war for the Isle, he would not see their blood wasted on a war that was never theirs to begin with.

He'd do it himself.
