Cuvelier Family/Mansion

A description and a little piece of history of the Cuvelier Mansion.

The Farmers

As most families, the Cuvelier Family began as farmers and had to work their way up. For long, they have cultivated the fields of Dayr az Zawr(More precisely: Zawr).

After some 200 years of serving a local lord, they became important enough to own a part of the land themselves. Since they owned their own land, they slowly became richer and richer and had time to construct a nicer farm. They were still living in a sort of big stable, when they decided to construct the first part of their mansion.

The Wealthy Farmers

While the Cuvelier Family was now sending noblemen to the armies of the World, they began to construct a larger mansion which showed how rich they were. In the following years, their mansion would be under constant construction. Now, it even has small fortifications to protect them from bandits or looters.
