Letter from Dobromir Menethil Message sent to the Rulers of East Continent (8 recipients) Greetings,

I already know many of you will not agree with the move Caligus is making. But the war up north has been going on for too long and Fontan lives because of their priests actions.

I as an ally was asked to help end the war and accepted to do so. Therefore, Caligus will be attacking Fontan until Fontan and SoA agree to surrender and end the war in the north.

Dobromir Menethil King of Caligus

Letter from David Ironheart Message sent to the Rulers of East Continent (8 recipients) Recent events only show the extent of the desperation, which the leadership of Sirion has reached.

Let this be a war to the end whatever it maybe, unfortunately the word surrender has long been erased from our dictionaries.

May the moonlight of Asena eluminate the minds of all who are still oblivious to injustice.

Regards,

Sir David Ironheart Sultan of Sultanate of Asena

Letter from Theuderik Cuvelier Message sent to the Rulers of East Continent (8 recipients) Rulers of the East Continent,

Today I have lowered my relations with Caligus. The reason should by now be obvious. Caligus has wrongfully invaded Fontan and used a weak excuse to attack our ally. They turned that war into something disgusting. We shall not let them continue to rampage upon the lives of our allies.

I know that Caligus will now claim, that we break the peace treaty we signed with them. This is however not true; that treaty has already been broken when Caligus handed back Partora to Perdan. I'm sure both King Dobromir and Queen Balkeese have a copy, and know clearly what point five stipulates. It is thus in my right to demand Perdan to join in a war against Caligus, but it would be irrational for them to do so. Considering they received a city from Caligus, however, I expect that such a move was enough to bribe them and have made them Caligus' "ally" - ironically, for Caligus declared war upon them and we were the ones to follow.

In any case, I call upon all realms to reject the actions of Caligus and mobilize their armies against them. Even Sirion can reject these actions, for even they would agree that Caligus has no reason whatsoever to attack Fontan, but sheer interest in expanding its territory and fighting a lame and weak war. Well, that will not go through. You may be in their capital now, Caligus, but prepare to be massacred for your crimes against our allies.

Yours,

Theuderik Cuvelier Pontifex of Ibladesh

Letter from Dobromir Menethil Message sent to the Rulers of East Continent (8 recipients) Pontifex Theuderik,

In the treaty there is no clause that Caligus broke. Partora was Caligus territory which we deemed fit to return to Perdan because we are not greedy for territory as you say. You can try and weasle your way in saying you didnt break the treaty but there was no clause stating Caligus cannot do what it wants with it own regions. If you can clearly point out a clause which states Caligus could not hand another realm regions it owns I myself will beseech that everyone here war Caligus.

If I intended to break a treaty it would have been done over Bursa then over Moyale. Then Recently over your ambassador trying to get Liebo to switch also. No Theuderik you broke the treaty by lower to neutral and that is it.

As for Fontan is you want reasonings for war there are many others.

1. Repeated looting in Caligus territory by Fontanese nobles for days and never recieved bans.

2. Fontan nobles passing through Caligus without permission

3. Aulus Severus refusing to even acknowledge or reply to any of my letters.

For these and because my allies Sirion needed to end war yes I moved in. After Caligus Theuderik who is next for you to expand into?

Dobromir Menethil King of Caligus

Letter from Theuderik Cuvelier Message sent to the Rulers of East Continent (8 recipients) Oh Dobromir. Your letters fill the theatres of our Empire every evening, and make even the most miserable noble laugh aloud.

Theuderik Cuvelier Pontifex of Ibladesh

Letter from Dobromir Menethil Message sent to the Rulers of East Continent (8 recipients) Theuderik

I am glad to be of assistance then. Seems I still somehow manage to aid Ibladesh somehow.

Dobromir Menethil King of Caligus

Letter from Richard Telrunya Message sent to the Rulers of East Continent (8 recipients) Caligus has been preparing for War against Ibladesh and the Diocese of Aix the day their War with Perdan ended. Their persecution of our Church, their propaganda against us and their twisted truths regarding Moyale all are part of those efforts. Now they cowardly launch an attack on Fontan, knowing full well they will find little resistance. Gladly, the King of Caligus made one mistake and broke the Treaty, allowing us to take action against these dishonourable actions.

You will have the War you wanted, King of Caligus, may you not regret your decisions. The Diocese of Aix will support Ibladesh in her efforts against Caligus.

May Ramsus guide us, may Sartan strengthen our arm, may Tersea lead us to glory and may Kokini smile upon us,

Richard Telrunya Archbishop of Diocese of Aix, Ambassador of Diocese of Aix

Letter from Dobromir Menethil Message sent to the Rulers of East Continent (8 recipients) Rulers,

For reference of the points Ibladesh and DoA are accussing Caligus of. It is point 5 in the treaty. I will list another point with it

4. Caligus will gain the rights to the following regions - Partora, Eldoret, Mulhouse and Meuse.

5. Perdan will exist in - Perdan city, Perdan Mines, Brive, Dimwood, Bescanon and Montauban

Basically they are accusing Caligus for Perdans expansion. Note that clause 4 gave Caligus rights to the regions and Ibladesh and DoA no say in what happens with them. If they even want to argue this "breach" in treaty the only way they can do it is by accusing Perdan of growing. So basically you even point your fingers at the wrong realm simply because you have wished to war Caligus for a long time.

On that note, the time of the treaty it was very obvious that Perdan was simply given right to maintain their territory in those region there were no restrictions put on Perdan for expanding whatsoever. At a time they gained Troyes and neither Ibladesh nor DoA even muttered anything. Why? Because they dont care they simply wanted to weasle their way on a war with Caligus.

Remember Bursa, Moyale. Broken treaties on after another trying to bait Caligus into taking the first action. All the free food Caligus sent you. None of that mattered did it? No Richard and Theuderik once yuo got your land you seek to further expand and why not just war the one threat that is near and try and eliminate them.

Guess what with all your baiting Theuderik you were still the one who broke this treaty whether you like it or not or how much you can try and accuse Caligus. Caligus isnt even referred to in any way in clause 5 nor any restriction put on Caligus in that clause. The only clause that Caligus, Ibladesh and DoA were under were not to lower relations. You did so.

I hope you find some way to argue my point as it will be very amusing as to how you can even make such accusations.

Signed,

Dobromir Menethil King of Caligus

Letter from Theuderik Cuvelier Message sent to the Rulers of East Continent (8 recipients) Ah... Where shall I start.

Let me begin by saying that discussing here doesn't make much sense anymore. We hate you, you hate us. It's obvious. The tons of militia you placed at our border makes clear that you wanted and expected us to war you. It was but an easy and treacherous move to attack Fontan, instead of having the guts to attack us in person yourself. This however gave you an opportunity to demand/ask Perdan to join your side... which, it seems, they will.

We can argue about the true meaning of the points you mentioned, but there is really no reason to drag this on. The treaty is no more. You accuse me of breaking other treaties, which I find rather discomforting, since I cannot seem to retrieve copies about a treaty for Moyale. Bursa, it's obvious, doesn't need explaining. You scared the Lord away, rather than we stole that region from you. I guess not everyone likes you as much as you think they do.

I do not care about Perdan growing larger - for all I know, they conquer whatever they wish. They weren't violent towards us ever since the war against them ended - at least not as far as I know. You, on the other hand, couldn't wait to make us declare war upon you. And, again, by in a totally lame way attacking Fontan you managed to do so.

With this being said, our armies shall cross swords on the battlefield.

Yours,

Theuderik Cuvelier Pontifex of Ibladesh

Letter from Dobromir Menethil Message sent to the Rulers of East Continent (8 recipients) Well as long as its no longer Caligus breached the treaty and its you dont like us its all fine. I mean whats the harm in breaking yet another treaty.

See you on the field.

Dobromir Menethil King of Caligus

Letter from Balkeese Indirik Message sent to the Rulers of East Continent (8 recipients) The treaty between Caligus, Ibladesh and Perdan does not, in any way, restrict the expansion of Perdan. The Duchy of Partora belonged to Caligus, to dispose of as they willed. To claim that Caligus violated the treaty because Perdan owned territories beyond those specified in the treaty is blatantly false logic, and merely a thinly veiled excuse for war.

Interestingly enough, Pontifex Theuderik, you are accusing Caligus of having motivations of expansionism and bladfaced aggression, when they are doing nothing more than aiding their ally. Which is exactly what you claimed Ibladesh was doing when they attacked Perdan on behalf of Caligus, and stole two duchies so you could establish a religious puppet state in Aix. "It's nothing personal, we were just aiding our ally."

Ibladesh, and their puppet Diocese, are the clear and obvious aggressor in the breach of this treaty. Therefore, Perdan will comply with the treaty terms, and will be moving toward a state of war with Ibladesh and the Diocese.

And by the way, Pontifex Theuderik, we weren't aggressive or violent toward you before the war, either.

Lady Balkeese Indirik Queen of Perdan
