The hordes of monsters and undead have been driven from our lands, but our allies still need help. In order for the continued survival of ourselves and our allies, we must help them expand. It is also extremely important to protect what land we own from the few remaining bands of monsters.
Recruitment
As we expand we need large numbers of troops to quickly and efficiently complete takeovers, but nevertheless, over-recruitment is not encouraged. A modest sized unit (20 to 30 archers or infantry, 40 to 50 mixed infantry) is suggested. If you do not have the gold to maintain a unit of this size, I will be more than willing to give you some gold.
Where as the final decision in recruitment is yours, the type of soldier recruited may have a large part in the victory or defeat of our army on the battlefield. That said, consider the words of our wise leader and fair-minded general when deciding which troops to hire as the enemies we fight may change from time to time.
Paraphernalia
When it comes to paraphernalia, there is very little to mention. In these uncertain times, where a threat could make itself seen at any time, it is a good idea to have two trained scouts travel with you. As every military unit will suffer casualties, hiring a healer might be in your best interests. And, as for banners, if you are in command of an infantry unit, they could mean the difference between glory or retreat in battle.
Region Maintenance
The maintenance of our regions is of high importance. We currently have a well organized and dedicated team of 2 bureaucrats. They are doing an excelent job of keeping our regions in the best shape currently possible. If you would like to join them, message me.
Food (new)
We are currently running a small surplus of food. We are primarily using this to stockpile for bad weather, but some may be available for trade to our allies. If you want to do some trading, message me.
