Local legend tells of an ancient warrior whose thirst for battle led him to the nearby city of Saler, where a sea-dragon was said to be terrorizing the coast. Having goaded the dragon into raising its great head above the water by throwing rocks into Sigund's realm, the hero drove his sword through the center of the creature's eye, felling it in a single blow.
Many generations later, the fabled blade was found among the treasures of an alpha monster, and returned to its proper place in the light.
