Current Judicial Agreements

The Arch Priest's office has arranged, with the Judges of other Realms, various agreements concerning prisoners and their accepted handling.

None of these agreements have a termination date.

Tara/Abington Prisoner Agreement (Mar 22, 2006)

1. No troopleader of either realm will be held for longer than 2 days (4 turns), the troop leader will therefore be released at the end of the 4th turn at the very latest.

2. Troopleaders of either realm will not be tortured or have their gold stolen during their time held captive.

3. These terms do not include infiltrators, however negotitations for infiltrators can take place.


Minas Ithil/Abington Prisoner Agreement (July 23 '06)

1. No troopleader of either realm will be held for longer than 2 days (4 turns), the troop leader will therefore be released at the end of the 4th turn at the very latest.

2. Troopleaders of either realm will not be tortured or have their gold stolen during their time held captive.

3. By Troopleaders we mean any Soldier, Cavalier, Mentor, Bureaucrat or Hero.

4. Infiltrators will not be banned if caught by patrols, while not in the act of doing anything.

5. If caught, Infiltrators can be held until the judge sees fit to release them

Talerium/Abington Prisoner Agreement (July 26 '06, modified August 2)

1. No troopleader of either realm will be held for longer than 2 days (4 turns), the troop leader will therefore be released at the end of the 4th turn at the very latest.

2. Troopleaders of either realm will not be tortured or have their gold stolen during their time held captive.

3. By Troopleaders we mean any Soldier, Cavalier, Mentor, Bureaucrat, Trader or Hero.

4. Traders who are caught on the Black Market shall be considered an exception to clause 1 and clause 2; however, they shall still not be tortured.

5. Infiltrators of either realm shall not be tortured and shall be released after 3 days (4 turns).

6. No troopleader, can be banned and executed, and Infiltrators are not to be executed..

7. Troopleaders, including Infiltrators, that have been banned before the first treaty are not to be executed, but can be deported.

Falasan/Abington Justice Agreement (Aug 31 '06)

1. No troopleader of either realm will be held for longer than 2 days (4 turns), the troop leader will therefore be released at the end of the 4th turn at the very latest.

2. Troopleaders of either realm will not be tortured or have their gold stolen during their time held captive.

3. By Troopleaders we mean any Soldier, Cavalier, Mentor, Bureaucrat, Trader (Who is not captured on the Black Market) or Hero

ASI/Abington Infiltrator Agreement (Oct 06)

1. If ASI captures an Abington infiltrator on Abington territory, who is in the process of defending Abington territory, ASI shall release that infiltrator at earliest opportunity without banishment or harm.

2. If Abington captures an ASI infiltrator on ASI territory, who is in the process of defending ASI, Abington shall release that infiltrator at earliest opportunity without banishment or harm.

3. For the above clauses, a region shall be considered part of either ASI or Abington according to whether the Judge can hold court in that region.

Carelia/Abington Prisoner Agreement (April 14, 07)

1. Troop-leading nobles (Including Knights, Heros, Cavaliers, Regional Lords and Council Members) are to be released within 1 day, and cannot be tortured nor have their gold stolen.

2. An exception to clause 1. is if the prisoner acts disrespectfully, in which he can be treated more harshly. It is expected that in this case, the situation will be discussed with the foreign judge.

3. Traders should stay out of the enemy's land, and if they are captured on the black market, they can have their gold stolen.

4. Priests must stay out of enemy territory unless approved by a religious order within the enemy land. Captured priests receive no special protections.

5. Infiltrators may be held as long as the judge wish, and their gold can be taken, if captured by patrols. If captured in the act of a crime, the infiltrator can be banished. If captured after banishment, the infiltrator can be deported or executed.

Cagilan Empire/Abington Prisoner Agreement (June 18, 07)

Prisoner Conduct Agreement with Abington

1. No troopleader of either Realm will be held for longer than 2 days (4 turns), the troop leader will therefore be released at the end of the 4th turn at the very latest.

2. Troopleaders of either Realm will not be tortured, except Infiltrators, they are a seperate issue.

3. Troopleaders of either Realm will not have their gold stolen during their time held captive, unless 200 gold or more is held.

Infiltrator Prisoner Agreement with Abington

1. When an Infiltrator is 1st caught a ban is the maximum penalty

2. When an Infiltrator is caught again then Deporting is the maximum penalty

3. No Execution of an Infiltrator, unless he/she has attacked a noble of any rank, except another Infiltrator. If anyone is assaulted then the offender will not be dealt with inside the Agreement and will be treated as an individual case WITHOUT EXCEPTION.

4. Any Infiltrator that has been caught, banned and then deported, if they are foolish enough to return and get caught, may be Executed.

5) Infiltrator attacking another Infiltrator is not a banning or deporting offense, the maximum punishment is 2 days in prison then released unharmed.

Traders Prisoner Agreement with Abington

1. If caught by patrols and no crime has been committed or been reported in an area of one region around any side of region caught, then they will be released as soon as possible.

2. If caught by patrols and a crime has been committed or been reported in an area of one region around any side of region caught, then they can be tortured once ONLY to either try and prove their guilt or innocence.

2a. If report shows no proof, they must be presumed innocent (or just very lucky) and released at once.

2b. If report shows proof, they will be treated as either 3 or 4

3. If caught dealing on the Black Market or proof is found they have dealt there in any of the other realms regions, 1st offense is a ban, 2nd offense is deported only.

4. If caught trying to assassinate any Noble or proof is found they have, they are indeed Infiltrators and fall under the Infiltrator agreement and it's rules. 5. Arrest report MUST be provided to other Judge as proof.

6. If a torture was used, then arrest report + crime report of region or next region Must also be provided to other Judge (to justify why torture was used).

Bureaucrat Prisoner Agreement with Abington

1. If caught trying to assassinate any Noble, they are indeed Infiltrators and fall under the Infiltrator agreement and it's rules.

2. If caught in battle in their own realms region, they are to be released as soon as possible.

3. If caught in battle outside their own realms region, they are to be released after 2 days (4 turns).

4. If caught by patrols and a crime has been committed or been reported in an area of one region around any side of region caught of an unnamed , then on showing the other Judge the report (as reasonable suspicion) the other judge MUST give the TRUE career of the accused.

If the suspect is truly a Bureaucrat , then 2/ applies.

If really an Infiltrator, then ONE torture ONLY will be allowed to either prove guilt or innocence.

If innocent then 2/ applies.

If guilty then they fall under Infiltrator agreement and it's rules.

Former Justice Agreements

This is where agreements that were made are kept, for posterity, even if they are no longer valid for one reason or another. (In all cases so far, it is because the foreign judge has on his/her own decided to dissolve the agreement.)

Darka/Abington Justice Agreement (Feb 26 through June 16 2006)

1. Darka Troopleaders will be released after a maximum of 2 days if captured by Abington.

2. Abington troopleaders will be released after a maximum of 2 days if captured by Darka.

3. Torture of prisoners will be forbidden between Darka and Abington.

4. Abington infiltrators may be banished by Darka if caught making hostile actions, but not for merely traveling or scouting.

5. Darka infiltrators may be banished by Abington if caught making hostile actions, but not for merely traveling or scouting.


Cagilan/Abington Prisoner Agreement (May 2, 2006 - April 25, 2007)

1. No troopleader of either Realm will be held for longer than 2 days (4 turns), the troop leader will therefore be released at the end of the 4th turn at the very latest.

2. Troopleaders of either Realm will not be tortured.

3. Troopleaders of either Realm will not have their gold stolen during their time held captive, unless 200 gold or more is held.

Cagilan/Abington Prisoner Infiltrator Agreement (May 4, 2006 - April 25, 2007)

1. When an Infiltrator is first caught a ban is the maximum penalty

2. When an Infiltrator is caught again then Deporting is the maximum penalty

3. No Execution of an Infiltrator, unless he/she has attacked a Royal, a Council Member, a Duke or a Region Lord, if any of the aforementioned have been Assulted then he/she will not be dealt with inside the Agreement and will be treated as an individual case WITHOUT EXCEPTION.

4. Any Infiltrator that has been caught, banned and then deported, if they are foolish enough to return and get caught, may be Executed.
