By Roxas Sypher | Norland shrinking | May 25th |
Norland now holds only the city of Brackhead and Ashmoor. Through the efforts of the Minas Ithil armies, the regions of Mansbridge, Hernepoole and Shiverwood are no longer part of the realm. |

By Roxas Sypher | Not the sharpest axe in Norland? | May 10th |
Queen Katherine received the following letter that she shared with the realm. I am sending this message directly to you to avoid time wasting by having Sir Dante as an intermediary. I'll be direct to the point. MI will immediately withdraw from Norland land and by this I include Mansbridge, or by the power that the nobles of Norland gave me I will execute your Husband. Should you decide to do as I say, you should order your troops back immediately. You will have to choose, between your love to your husband and close future projects for your realm. Then again he would become an martyr of MI, though you already have DeadAngel I guess. I am unsure whether you want him to become a martyr, or even if he does... but it doesn't matter that much really. A queen must make hard decisions right? By the way, I do not desire any exchange and I think I know most of the consequences you may be planning, but they don't matter that much, at this point, so don't bother telling them. I am not interested in your words other than an answer. Don't ask me if I can be trusted to hold my part, you probably think you can't, personally I know you can. What you think is not that important, regardless. If you decide to try to make time without communicating the decision I will be forced to torture/execute him. The latter is more probable. Grand Executioner of Norland You're an idiot. My husband, the love of my life, the man I care about more than anything...is in Shanandoah right now. We all know the risks, and each of us is willing to die for Minas Ithil. I've made a fair offer to your Konungr to end the war. Instead, he wished to try to maneuver me into a commitment where I would fight Eston and the Barony of Makar. You and your country mates continue this war, not Minas Ithil. Now if you're done threatening me with the life of my husband that you simply are mad for thinking that you can execute him from 150 miles away, I'll go back to awaiting your surrender. |
By Roxas Sypher | Attack on Brackhead | May 9th |
Minas Ithil forces, though fatigued by the heavy fighting in Mansbridge, marched into Hernepoole. In a series of small battles in the region, Duke Fenrig Harkonnen of Brackhead was killed in battle. Then in a coordinated attack with Darka, the two armies attacked the city with 1007 troops. Norland defended the city with 1,032 men, having drafted as many troops as they could to defend the city. |
