The Summer Isles

The birthplace of several noble families, the Summer Isles are a supposedly inhabited and developed chain of small islands.

The best description comes from Belruel Madigan:

"I was born in what my father called the Summer Isles. You will find them on no map man has drawn nor in the memory of any sailor. You see, my home is surrounded by a dense mist, so thick and befuddling that none can sail through it - save once a year when it parts and my people leave. My father made his castle upon the island, with the remnants of the people of my clan. And so, with my brothers and I, House Madigan was born in the mist".

The Summer Isles are most likely located near the Far East and Dwilight due to the majority of the members of the various clans winding up in these locations. The people of the Summer Isles are noted for their fair hair and fine features, as well as a slightly foreign accent inflecting their speech.
