Within the Ryou Gu Tykou there are three gods, Korojima, Mizuki and Takanobou. These are the watchers of the Ryou Gu Tykou. They stand for their own morals in life. However, there is one moral they agree on. That is that one must accept each other for who they are. If they are to be fought. They are fought with respect. They are not treated like dirt (unless they are heretics or commoners). They will not be hated because of they're differences. They will be fought only if the issue is not about racialism. The divine dragon is the symbol of the Ryou Gu Tykou. It stands for "acceptance". The one rule of the Ryou Gu Tykou. The Divine Dragon is not directly worshipped. When worshiped it is merely a representation which stands for the Ryou Gu Tykou. It is not a god or power of it's own.

Our Beliefs

The Highest Teaching of the Ryou is "Adherence to Principles". Many initiates find this to be a difficult concept. Most religions focus on Worship of Dieties, Ceremony, Sacrifice, and Tradition. These are fairly absent in the Ryou.

What is "Principle"? It means thinking ahead, choosing the action that most fits your intentions, and keeping to that intention in all that you do, to the best of your ability. In the Nation of Giblot "Goodness" is considered the highest Principle. That Nation has been Blessed by achieving their foremost goals through Perseverance and Personal Sacrifice by the Leaders and Nobility in general. Other nations have achieved their own goals by working in unison on their own chosen Principle even though they may have never heard of the "Ryou".

"Principles" are the forces that drive the universe. The stars, the clouds, rivers and mountains and creatures around us disclose how Principles drive their actions. Principles drive even the gods, since they are subject to the way things work out, depending on their persistence in Principle.

Within the Ryou Gu Tykou there are three historic "gods", Korojima, Mizuki and Takanobou. They show how their own chosen Principles work out in life. There is one Principle they all adhere to - "Rightness". Similar to Goodness, this also means working to achieve the greatest good for the greatest number.

The Gods

As you know the three gods are, Korojima, Mizuki and Takanobou. These gods used to fight and quarrel about who's morals were better. When all their fighting was finally finished. They came to a whole hearty agreement. They agreed that out of all their morals. They believe the most important is "Acceptance". That is why they formed the Ryou Gu Tykou so everyone only had to worship one rule and then be free to ponder on to do whatever he feels. Nowadays the gods still take pride in their morals but they because of their new most important moral. They are very respectful for each and make a formidable council.

Korojima.jpg
He is the god of Honour. He is and always will be bound to settle things by extreme measures. If one is being dishonourable he must be struck down in a duel to the death. Korojima believes you must be ready to risk your life to strike down your enemy and make sure he is not around to make anyone else’s life miserable. He also has high in his morals that you will treat your enemy with honour!! Korojima will not take foul insults. You must be polite and act with honour to your enemy until their last breath so they may go up to the holy land. Knowing they died honourably.
Mizuki.jpg
She is the god of war. Once men laughed at her for being a woman and wanting to fight. She proved them wrong! Because of experience she has set high beliefs to make sure all people can fight for their realm. Mizuki believes you must never under no circumstances retreat from war or hesitate to go to war. You must carry your banner and rush to war with pride. You must not give mercy, Never! The enemy does not deserve it and for Mizuki they must have their life ended. No matter what harm they have done. If they are the enemy kill them!
Takanobou.jpg
He is the god of logic. He was always looked at as the fool who was a coward but he has now proven to be only one with almighty logic. Takanobou believes violence is of no use unless it is completely necessary. This code is for the smart and logical and anyone who think they can deal with any problem. Councilors of realms usually take Takanobou as a key figure in life and watch his amazing knowledge and logic to learn from.

The Rule

Korojima, Mizuki and Takanobou came together for the purpose of showing others what good it brings to come together and admire and enjoy our differences instead of bring hate to them. The Ryou Gu Tykou has one rule. That is "Acceptance".

Acceptance can be defined in any ways and can be applied to many situations. This explanation aims to show what the Ryou Gu Tykou mean excactly by acceptance. The Ryou Gu Tykou do not wish to let this rule apply to every single daily situation. Such as your scribe forgetting to send a message you spend ages creating. The Ryou Gu Tykou's definition aims more at.

"Accepting Differences"

A war or any quarell based on someone who is physically different from them is disgusting. A war or quarell based on a claim for a region is completely legal on religious terms. A situation like thatw ould be completely ignored by the gods. The Ryou Gu Tykou want people to be at peace with different types of cultures and such but also take pride in their own. One is completely free to do whatever he feels except scrutinize someone else's culture or looks.

For people that are willing to defy this rule and tell the Ryou Gu Tykou that they are wrong in their practices. A Religious Army is Reserved.
