| − | The region's name originated from the town of Serrus, the original seat of the local lord, which was located near the center of Xerus. Having been the seat of the original human clan leaders in ancient times, the area always held a key place in the hearts of the commoners. According to locals, the ancient town of Serrus was claimed to be razed at some point during the War of the Nine Realms by forces of Bara'Khur during clashes with the forces of Old Grehk. Since its liberation by Grehkian forces, however, the town is being rebuilt with a new manor for its appointed lord.
