| Duchess Askileon of Pian en Luries has been banned! Why? She failed to respond to the Crown in the appropriate amount of time. But neither the Royal Arbitrator nor the Queen herself has ever had to contend with the various duties of a duke, and from the few moments I have seen they are quite busy.
The official reason cited by the Royal Arbitrator? "You rejected the Crown's authority & insulted the Royal Arbitrator. You poorly managed your city & Duchy. You were given many chances to change, but did nothing. You were asked to step by the Queen, but did not. Now you must be forcibly evicted." She did not poorly manage her city and duchy. Perhaps you've not noticed but her duchy has been consistently shrinking due to the actions of Grand Imperator Diodorus, Queen Alanna's right hand! It is him who has been selfishly using his armies in the south, neglecting the expanding north. It is him who has been slowly convincing Lords to swear allegiance to him. And it is him who has been slowly crippling the Duchy of Askileon's ability to maintain itself! I ask this of you, reader of the Lurian Weekly: Is Alanna Anaris a Honourable Queen or a Corrupt Conspirator? | |

| There were likely many who wondered just how long Lurian power would last, and they have just found out. Duke Kaennji Shenron, a former King of Pian en Luries himself, has just recently declared his duchy's secession from the realm of Pian en Luries in the following message:
My Friends in Pian en Luries, Today is grave day. Today duchess Marie was removed from her own position as Duchess of Askileon and embarrassed in front of everyone. This realm has become insecure, unsafe and corrupt. Queen Alanna and Arbitrator Finegus have too little understanding of the feudal system we live by and have ultimately disrespected. They have become corrupt with power. Pian en Luries has failed. Thus it will have to be replaced. Today Verus Luria shall stand. Yours, | |
