The Gods fury upon the rebels Only a few hours ago, the Gods fury was unleashed upon several rebel leaders and around the city of Ashforth many were terrified by the extreme lightening storms which lit the city streets with a bright fluroesence. By the end of the storms, five rebels lay dead, their charred remains creating a smell which was rank throughout the city afterwards. The interpretations of the local priests of the City were as thus. Rebellion! Earlier today Rhargec, grandson of the infamous worm Charger, called for an uprising against the true government of Old Rancagua dragging along an army of newer Nobles into the fray. The rebellious members comprised of a handful of nobles, not surprisingly three-quarters of which had not been in the realm more than 20 days. Here follows an account of Rhargec's "reasons" (if any) for rebellion, other than personal family vendetta against Old Rancagua. Originally, the battle was taken to the Old Rancaguan loyalists with only a handful being able to react in time to defend the palaces from being overrun but, as the loyalist numbers grew exponentially it was clear that the number of Nobles who disagreed with the current course of action were few. A clear majority in the Nobility has taken up arms with King Dekion and the Council as they continue to orchestrate the defence of the Capital long enough to stall the rebellion and kill all its leaders. Let us wish them luck in their efforts as they fight to maintain Old Rancaguan honour and sovereignty. Avamarian armies routed as the Northern Alliance storms to victory! In recent days the combined forces of Fontan, Sirion and Old Rancagua have scored major victories in our righteous crusade to end the Avamarian menace once and for all. Arriving in Stora only to find that the enemy had retreated back to the relative safety of their ill-gotten walls in Kalmar City, the Old Rancaguan High Command, in synchronisation with Fontanese and Sirionite leadership decided to push on, invading the city with over 30,000 CS of troops. The battle lasted for hours as the brave and valiant crusaders from the mainland stormed the city walls and slew all those who attempted to stop them in the righeousness. Victory was achieved, and has now resulted in the total destruction of the Avamarian and Kalmarian forces in the isles, troops that will be very difficult for them to replace and, with further reinforcements coming every day from Kazan and Stora, it seems that finally the jig is up for Lalakis the Tyrant and his Avamarian lala-keys. Invasion of Stora Scout reports already have yielded vital information to the ongoing effort to synchronise our troops in this great undertaking by the Northern Alliance to rid the East Continent of its oldest cancer. These reports have indicated an allied army of over 50,000 CS making its way to smash the Avamarian defenders in Stora, and then move on to Kalmar City itself for the first time since the original successful invasion by the then, High Marshal Wenliang. The allied force, which includes some 18,000 CS of Fontanese and Old Rancaguan soliders, as well as another 17,000 CS of Sirionite forces, will arrive in Stora within the next dew days resulting in the biggest battle in the East Continent since the wars with Perdan and Oligarch pitting 50,000 CS against an assembled 15 to 20K CS of defenders. Let us pray that the Avamarians have played all their cards in this war and now that the final drum beat comes, we will be able to storm their defences and liberate the isles from their tyranny and oppression. 1000 days of Old Rancagua! Today is an historic day for Old Rancaguans everywhere both past and present, as we celebrate our 1000th day of existence. Earlier this morning, a thousand days in the past, the city of Oroya was seceded from the Church-held lands, and Talius Valorian became the first King of Old Rancagua. Thus also began the Civil War, and our long, bitter struggle against the Church and her bloodthirsty allies. But despite all the odds, we have triumphed and now enjoy a prosperity that was never before thought achieveable by Kings long past. How fitting it is though, that it was to be on the thousandth day of our existence that the final wave was sent to the Kalmarian isles, and along with our brothers in Fontan and Sirion, it would be this day that the Avamarian menace would be destroyed once and for all. Let us bring an end to the greatest threat to peace the East Continent has ever seen, and live in the days of prosperity that our valour will provide! To arms my brothers! December 2nd, 2006 - Fontan joins the Crusade! In recent news, Gregor, long time Chancellor of Fontan has delivered news that the armies of Fontan are now committed to the destruction of Avamar and the final defeat of the dominating Avamarian Oligarchy. Large numbers of Fontanese troops have been seen massing in preparation for movement to the isles, in syncronisation with Old Rancaguan and Sirionite armies. The Northern Alliance is clear in their actions, we will be the final scourge of the Avamarian menace, and will bring peace and freedom to the isles. Now all we need is Perdan to join us in our righteous crusade and the final death of Avamar will be sealed....let us hope the ruler of Perdan receives this edition. They were co-founders of Kalmar and shared in the pain of the hateful actions of El Cid, and then the mortal insult of Avamarian sanctioning of his actions by accepting them. Join us Perdan! Rebels at an all time low The Underground is near empty, an astounding achievement given Old Rancagua's vast number of nobles. With the recent banning of the traitorous spy Chris who was caught in the Underground, and who also coincidentally has family in Avamar, there are now but 2 out of 100 valiant men and women who are against the current course of action by the leadership of Old Rancagua. Truly our righteous crusade is a universally accepted action, and Old Rancagua will continue its national effort toward the destruction of Avamar and the final defeat of Lalakis the Tyrant and his Lala-kies. Old Rancagua stronger than ever before In recent days a new census of the entire Old Rancaguan Nobility has been taken revealing a milestone in our history. Old Rancagua has finally cracked the 100 Nobles mark, bringing them to the forefront as the third largest nation in the East Continent. In the fires of war and righteous action, a new realm under the direction of His Majesty King Dekion I, and his High Council, has been forged from the ashes of the old order which was destroyed by Avamarian and Oligarchian evil. Our military is stronger than ever, our zeal for King and Country has never been stronger, and our drive to deliver the final blow to the Avamarian menace will only continue to grow. Well, December has come, but our righteous crusade will continue and we will be the ones to bring you the news concerning this last crusade to end the Avamarian threat. Let's go people!
