The one time capital of [[Springdale]], this stronghold was taken by [[Virovene]] in the closing days of The War of Succession. Whilst not the largest or richest city in Virovene, it is considered one of the strongest fortresses in the land. It is also a hub for travel, from [[Dwilight/Springdale|Springdale City]] in the northeast to [[Dwilight/Aegir|Aegir]] in the southwest all roads lead through as a good half way point. The structure of the stronghold is elegant but strong with its spire reaching far into the sky whilst its walls are impervious to all but the greatest of siege engines.
