Meldeen is a region that has been traded between Redspan and Tara for a long time, battle after bloody battle, including the largest battle recorded in the history of the world. Redspan finally won firm control of the region and now uses it as a staging area for attacks on the Taran region of Tandsu.

Meldeenian Wine
The Habap Family produces wine from vineyard in Meldeen.
Pinot Blend
Dabug Habap used his archers to blend the wine after the most recent harvest, so he ended up with a curious blend of Pinot Noir and Pinot Grigio. Using archers as winemakers has its drawbacks. They thought both were the same grape.
Grenache
Dabug states that he has "bottled some Grenache that should be good in a few more years."
