As Battlemaster is set in the medieval times, some might find it difficult to come up with what kind of foods and drinks the nobles of that time might have had available. I've created this page to help with that. If you have some additional information to offer, feel free to do so, but take care to note that it fits the time period.
Food
The Nobles Diet
Nobles had a wide range of foods available to them, though their location limited them somewhat. Transporting food for long distances, especially the kind that might go bad quickly, was simply not possible. Getting fresh fish miles away from any water might simply not be possible.

Livestock
- Beef
- Bacon and Ham
- Lamb (sometimes referred to as mutton)
- Ox
Game
- Deer
- Rabbits
- Bear
Fish
For those near water fish was also an option. It could be fresh, salted or smoked. Examples of possible fishesh:
- Salmon
- Herring
- Eels
- Fresh water fishesh in general
Dairy Products
- Cheeses
- Butter
- Milk
Grains
The nobility could afford large quantities of milled flour and other meals made from grain. Fresh bread and other such things were not uncommon in a nobles table.
Alcoholic Drinks
These drinks are mainly from Europe, the Middle-East and Asia. Take care to check the linked Wikipedia entries for more information and in some cases to see a list of different varieties of the same drink.
