Black Shields
A fierce band of 29 infantry.
The battle over Abykal: In one of the many great battles between Ikalak and Taselak, in the midst they stood and did not yield, not to the enemy archers nor to the cavalry. They stood until they were surrounded from all sides by enemy infantry and then, man by man, all were slain but the bannerholder and he was wounded and carried out of the battle by Hakon himself. The Black Shields were no more.
The bannerholder still lives until today, is running a pub in Ikalak.
Hakon's Drunken Archers
Hakon, still sad and depressed about the death of all his comrades, sat in a pub when Captain Wolfram approached him. He was the captain of a unit of 29 archers from Wellaf and they were looking for a commander to lead them into battle.
