Irvington joined Pian en Luries after rebelling against the rule of the Grand Duchy of Fissoa. The Fissoan grip was diminished by the constant rogue attacks and the distance from Fissoa itself, which urged the locals to join the growing Lurian Empire.
Most recently, due to the Lurian Civil War, Irvington is no longer part of Pian en Luries at all, but the newly-founded eponymous realm of Giask.
