'The Fairytales have their roots in the very east of the Far East, in the realm of Arcaea. Fainche and Florence are the heroic sisters of the family, both hot-hearted and eager for war. Flash, the older brother, only flashed through Battlemaster history and has disappeared since then. The last member is Mysterion, a distant cousin from the Deathadders, a branch far far away from the root of the Fairytales family tree. '

is the younger, hot tempered of the two Fairytales sisters. She has an eye for the latest fashion and never goes to a fight without having had a look into a mirror. "Looking good on any occasion, be it dinner, duell or death" is her motto. This also applies for the combat unit, the famous Banner of the Dragon. The soldiers have to shave regularly, even before battle. Uniforms are cleaned every second day, and a specialized uniform consultant keeps the unit clad in latest fashion of the Far East. Yes, that also applies to the weapons. There are few soldiers wielding such beautiful weapons in combat. It is even said that the Dragons carry a so called field mirror, along with some clothes to change, into every battle.

lives and lets die by the sword. But unlike her younger sister Fainche, she believes that the feather can be mightier the pen, and that it may be better to make a step back than jumping over a bottomless pit. Her infantry unit, the Banner of the Griffin, has a tradition of breaching enemy lines and suffering heavy losses, close to total annihilation. As such, the men under Florence enjoy the stay in every city the find, for they know that it is most going to likely their last. Well, with three exceptions: The unit's mascot, the lovely Bannerholder Bob, the grim looking Captain Gismar, and the healer and herb nerd Vladimir somehow manage it to keep a permanent position in the script of the Florence's mayhem commando.

Mysterion Deathadder III. the Capricous

is the black sheep of the Fairytales family. One half Fairytales, the other half Deathadder, the capricous, aggressive and heartless cousin of Florence and Fainche has no mercy for his soldiers, which he sees as an simple investment, and even less for his enemies. His sergant has to eat his correspondence, he commands his soldiers to carry him from place to place, and when he takes the service of a healer, it will be only himself who gets healed. Mysterion is the prototype of a cold hearted noble.

Beside his deficits regarding his character, Mysterion is a devoted conquerror, occasional drinker, plunderer, rapist, and deadly tactician with even more deadly ambitions.

October 1007:
Fainche

    • becomes a hero
    • joins the Arcaea Military Conclave
    • reaches the third round of the tournament in Idapur, Greater Aenilia, and is beaten beaten by Lobo by the sword.
    • challenges Eidur Bloodaxe of Cathay to the death after the battle of Lambresi, but the opponent runs away like a stray dog.

Mysterion

    • appears in Ikalak and joins their efforts against Taselak and Toren
    • fights back an assault against Aboal my himself (with only little support from some stinking peasants)
    • executes some prisoners after the battle of Korlok to celebrate the 15 honor and 10 prestige he gained in only one week.

September 1007:
Fainche and Florence leave their cosy estate in the region of Lasop and travel to Remton in order to enlist to the army of Arcaea. From now on, they take part in the many battles in the Ethalian War of Sartania and Ethalia against Arcaea.

Fainche

    • gets wounded in a duell against Danil Thyme of Arcaea, who refused to apologize that his men beat up Bartholomew, the sergant of the Banner of the Dragon.

Florence

    • beats Danil Thyme of Araea easily in a duel with the sword.
