The gold lover
Gorch is the youngest of the three siblings, cautious by nature and always looking to be better with his gold. Thus, it was no suprise when he started his career on Atamara serving briefly in the army of Falasan. He now performs his duties to his realm by bringing in food from Eston, while keeping his options open with routes to ASI and Norland. He knows that the fortune of the family relies on his economic success, and he is determined not to fail. He is one of the few traders left in Falasan, alongside the banker Tokanan Salad'ilm, for whom he has great respect. Recently with the war in Falasan, he has been forced to work even harder. Gorch recently vanished in suspicious circumstances. It is said by some that he made some bad business choices, and whispered by others that he made the very best and was envied for it. Nonetheless it is known that he became dissillusioned with the amount of fire that traders began to draw in these wars and that he intended to do something about it...
After the death and funeral of Widfara, Gorch returned to active service, arriving on the shores of the east continent, in Ibladesh. Just when Exiled Family/Alex died,... it was a sad day for all. he claimed sympathetic leave and came to the funeral of his brohter, the second one he had been to in a week.
Disillusioned with the leadership of Ibladesh, he has been at the forefront of much discontent and public discussion, such as a very long public discussion of tactics with Korin, an Ibladeshi he respects as well endowed with interlligence, a quality sadly lacking in Ibladesh, culminating in protests against the general Targe due to his appointment of Jitte, a confirmed madman who has a history of psychopathic tendencies.
He emerged eventually in the Cagilan Empire after recommendations from a family friend of Alex and Widfara, Aurum Bishamon, the land where he had traded all that time ago in Falasan.
After the sudden uncurable sickness of his liege, Gorch became very disillusioned. After hearing an offer at a huge tournament he attended, Gorch decided that he would seek his home elsewhere and emigrated to Beluaterra. Joining the realm of Riombara, he was immediately attracted by the friendly atmosphere there. He intends to stay there for a long time - both his lust for gold, and his affection for his new home call to him. There he immediately made suggestions to improve the miliary aspect of things, and so far looks to be doing well, even when only a few days in.
