Duchy of Askileon
Askileon was the second city to come under Pian en Luries control. Shortly after Lady le Fois was gifted the title Duchess Askileon, and Askileon Purlieus and Santoo became vassals to the Duchess. It didn't take long for the Duchy to become a great power, as they spearheaded the taking of Giask. It's borders eastern shores of Santoo up to the mediteranian coastline of Girich.

Askileon lies upon the shores of Lake ???, it stone structures stretching toward the sky. The tallest of which is tower built from marble, the Tower of Twilight, with its flowering vines inching there why up. The rest of the city though has sadly lacked in splendor. Another place of interest within Askileon are the docks of which a regular sight is its ferry to Giask.

Guardians of Askileon
Marshall Christopher Vando
The Guardians of Askileon were founded by Marquis Sforza of Askileon Purlieus. It is also thanks to his great leadership skills that both Askileon and Giask were conquored in the name of Pian en Luries.
After taking Giask this army was converted to work as the Guardians of Giask, and is thusly no longer an army of Askileon as of roughly March 24th, 2008.
Silver Cross of Askileon
Marshall Zanaras Tian
The Silver Crosses currently form the main military force of the Duchy of Askileon, and Sir William Annuvin serves as the second in command under Zanaras. This army tends to only help matters that concern the duchy that funds it and supplies it with troops.

Paganism is pretty much the only thing in the Duchy of Askileon. And Harvest Festivals to the Sun are very common sights, exspecially in Santoo. Another is the Festival of Nights held in Askileon.

The Poryatown Press was founded and funded by Zanaras Tian, after taking an oath with the Duchess she became patron. Building the first of the Poryatown Press halls in Askileon.
It is also here at the Poryatown Press that the Lurian Weekly is published for all its avid readers.

Festivals
The Festival of Nights
A young girl is locked at the top of the Tower of Twilight, and the task is given to four young men to climb the outer wall of the tower. It is very dangerous as one can only use the vines that grow from its base and reach up to the four windows. It is not unheard of for the men to fall and die having not reached the top. For it was here in the Tower of Twilight that the Moon having taken a human form dwelt.
The Sun Harvest
A pagan festival to the Sun most commonly held in Santoo.
