Pasha began his Dwilight life in the rich and powerful realm of Morek. For much of his time there, he learned of the Blood Stars and their prophet Mathurin. After giving it much thought, he decided to take up a life of a priest of Sanguis Astroism, in order to help others to truly understand the Stars. Pasha lived in the Springdale duchy, which was mostly non-Sanguis Astroist, besides the duke, Sammael. During then Great Schism of Morek, when Morek split into the secular Libero Empire and the theocracy, Xinhai, Pasha was left in the non-religious half. He knew that he could not stay there for long. When word reached the Libero Empire of the demons in Aquilegia, he quickly understood that this was his chance to prove himself to the church. Upon arrival, he was granted the great position of High Inquisitor, and quickly settled in. However, Lord Bowie, the general and banker, had other plans. Lord Bowie Ironsides felt that the Theocrat government was weak, and he quickly gathered up his supporters and called for a rebellion, which led to an almost immediate victory. Upon news of the heathen rebellion, Pasha gathered up his loyal supporters and declared a rebellion, which too led to victory. But the victory was short lived and Sir Asriel managed to gain control of the crown. At long last, the Theocrats took back control and Sir Caxias was put in as Ruler, the position that Pasha received later by mutual consent.
