The Region of Lyton has seen hard times in the past. Many Armies have traversed her length and width in their assaults on and from Minas Ithil, the land and people had been battered and abused.
Those dark days are past however, the People of Lyton now look to the Realm of Hammarsett for protection and guidance. Slowly the people are coming to accept the Way of the Hammer as their way of faith.
Lyton is a crossroads for trade, bordering both Coria and Eston, to the west and north. The people's main sustenance comes from the river, which they fish passionately. The rolling hills of Elost, extensions of Mighty Mount Moramroth, extend their hilly tendrils into Lyton, and wild game flees the mountains at times, whether chased by Yetis, Dwarves or Frost Giants one can never be too sure, but often a wary hunter has benefited from keeping a watchful eye on those hills.
The future of Lyton lies with the reestablishment of production in the region, repairing the wounded soil and the wounded souls of her people. Construction of a new Brewery should go a long way towards accomplishing both, and that is Lyton's next order of business.
"Not great things alone must one give to another, praise oft is earned for nought; with half a loaf and a tilted bowl I have found me many a friend." The Havamal
A verse from the book of Viking Wisdom, a favorite that has been passed down through the Harkonnen clan from generation to generation, which hopefully, the people of Lyton will embrace.
