Current Diplomacy

With only one alliance, to Varyamo Nolvo, things may appear to be pretty tentative. But with no current wars and being peaceful most of the rest of the island Luz de Bia enjoys a certain peace. Only Riombara, Ashborn, and Fronen are nuetral to us.

When it came to reasoning for the alliance in Varyamo Nolvo, "we already had good relations with Varyamo Nolvo on their first incarnation in Wudenkin, so this would be a sort of reconnection with our old friends." as Chancellor Nhoc put it, he further added, "On Varyamo Nolvo, I have the hope that with an alliance it'll be easier for me to trick their ruler into bribing me. All my previous attempts have failed till now... But don't worry as all the gold would be for my own personal gain and use." This alliance came into effect on Jan 18 2006.

"With Plergoth we were also allied before the last invasion, and now we'll try to use the [peace] treaty as a basis for further cooperation, hopefully regarding food as we're always in need" - Nhoc. The peace was established on Jan 18 2006.

"Avalon is a new realm with whom we have had no significant relations, but they're neighbours, came from our long time friends of Enweil and all types of cooperation are open" - Nhoc. The peace was established on Jan 18 2006.

On Jan 28 2006 we officially went to Peace with Sint, there was but a slight dicussion, and the following reasons were given. "just out of friendship it seems. They're on the other side of the continent if you look at the map." - Nhoc and TVFD3 "I would propose going with the peace treaty. we aren't losing anything".

On the outside it may look like we are only getting prepared for the next undead invasion, but you could also look at it from the other perspective as keeping all options available.

The Vanguards Leave

It started when the Vanguard of Luz de Bia left. They all went to Taselak of the South West Island. The very backbone of the successful Luz de Bia left to the war islands, they would become become a critical piece of the backbone in Taselak.

It is said that the moment Lady DB heard that her realm had turned into a Democracy, she almost fainted, and she said that she may "Turn in her grave for that one." For it is well known that DBP is a staunch Royalist, at least she has been all her life.

A General Secedes, Civil War Erupts

Mar 2005 - Dikc managed to be elected as general of our army. However, his poor skills as general saw him lose an election to Rah shortly afterwards. Rah had proven good while Dikc was imprisoned after an undead battle.

Sore with the loss of his position, Dikc convinced judge Ime, the Duke of Grehk, River, and his brother Halo to secede Grehk and betray us. They took 2 other regions with them, Glongin and Mio Dupaki, and left us with a secession in the middle of an undead invasion. Thus Midas Chia was founded, a jealous step daughter realm of Luz De Bia. This caused a civil war, over the course of months Midas Chia would occassionally attempt botched takeover's of Bym or loot Kuugl.

Jan 2006 - Early in the month the Grehk, captial of Midas Chia, was taken with little fanfare, it proven to be the beginning of the end for Midas Chia. Midas Chia's final region, Glongin, was reclaimed at the end of the month. The lands of Midas Chia were offically reclaimed back into our proper hands.

Feb 2006 - We have reclaimed the city of Eylmon. The people there were a skinny bunch and largely couldn't resist us, the food and safety from the undead and monsters was too tempting for them.
