The Doomed Sabre, taken from the clutches of a slain monster, was once welded by a legandary ancient warrior. Tales of his ancient triumphs and battles glisten across the blackened blade. A silver hilt wrapped with leather for the grip balances the blade perfectly.
This Doomed Sabre was found by the adventurer Thyron, after a long battle with a alpha monster. The Sabre is in good condition and estimated at 66%.
"You finally encounter a small horde of monsters. You notice that they have a leader, an alpha monster, a really big and ugly one, whatever you want to call it. Because you are close to home and familiar with the lay of the land, you are able to use the terrain to your advantage. The battle rages, you against the monsters. Your blows land true and you strike most of them down, while a few manage to flee. The big one is the last to fall, but after an exhausting fight you manage to take him down, too. In the lair of the big one, you find treasures worth a total of 2 gold, 5 silver. You also find a unique item among the loot, the "Doomed Sabre"."
On August 7, the sabre was traded to Sir Gustav Kuriga, Knight of Flowrestown.
After helping to put down the failed rebellion, Sir Gustav Kuriga left Aquilegia when the leader accused someone of being part of the rebellion with no proof. He is now Knight of Ashrak. The sword's condition continued to fall as Gustav served Xinhai. After holding off 3 units of Aquilegia for 3 battles, the sword upgraded and provided 2 prestige. The commoner Zinn had the sword repaired to near mint condition. This sabre quenched its thirst for blood against the Libero Empire and the Raivian Empire.
The Doomed Sabre went up to 3 prestige after the massive Battle of Croton.
After some encounters with the monsters and undead in Huanghai, the sword now provides 4 prestige.
On November 15, 2010 Thiam Cuernalis discovered the sword by accident in Nidhogg's Mark. Prestige had risen to 5, but the sword was in a horrible condition. Fortunately, both a sage in Mupselheim and Muspel were able to restore the sword to perfect condition.
