Ashforth
Ashforth was the former capital city of Nivemus Ceded from Sirion in 1012 by Talius Valoran, Ashforth became the foundation of the new realm of Nivemus
Geography
Ashforth is a middle sized city on the midlands of the East continent. An inportant stop on the road between the city's of Oligarch and Sirion. The main industry of the city is the famous Ashforth's paper and ink. Most of the products are extensivly used in the Realm of Fontan. Although nobles of high standing use the quality paper all over the continent even behind the walls of water.
The Ducal palace is the pearl of the city, a sign of the extensive knowledge of architecture of the Duke, Elberan Carnes himself. Almost the entire city is from his hand, as it was he who rebuilded the city after the moths of plundering and burning the many wars brought.

The History of Ashforth has been turbulent, it has been the scene of war and looting for many months. Until it finaly came under fontan banner and in the capable hands of the Duke Elberan Carnes.
Local folklore
The people here are very friendly, extravagant and most helpfull. they enjoy their jobs and their favorite drink is Qrelgian ale. In war, the speciality of Ashforth is cavalery. The shadow raiders are feared by their enemy's, and well respected amonth their allies.
