Jessamine "Jaz" of House Haruka currently serves as a Dame of Ar Mosul in the duchy of House Grathe in the realm Perleone.

Origin

The first-born child of the deVries, Jaz had an isolated childhood in the Stormlands.

When she was nine summers old, her family's connections to the late Lady Haruka were revealed. She and her younger twin sisters were left with a minor noble in Mimer. After her parents were assassinated, the noble sold her to a man in the East Continent. She was forced to work as a child laborer in Shadowdale until age 16, when she murdered her master and escaped.

Over the next four years, she attempted to learn more about her family's origins. Her only hint was a letter written in BlóðesfylleÞ given to her by her parents, which led her to claim her noble origins and discover her connection to Haruka.

At age 20, Jaz began her career as a warrior in Perleone and immediately was swept up in the bitter war against Perdan.

Appearance and Character

Like all the daughters of House Haruka, Jaz is of slight stature and has flaming red hair. She was wounded by monsters in Al Aquabah, leaving her with minor scarring on her left shoulder.

She takes her duty exceptionally seriously and endeavors to have a military career. However, her temper can often get the better of her.
