+ | |headline = Hollow boasts of the Republican Pirates
+ | |article = Amidst the negotiations between Aurvandil and Madina (as mediated by the realms of D'Hara, Caerwyn, Barca, Terran and the Grand Duchy of Fissoa) the current Grand Doge of Madina (Vallyn Rothach) boasted of the "failures of Aurvandil" to prevent starvation in Candiels, clearly ignoring that the namesake city and former capital of Madina city, starved itself into revolt only weeks before, to then be recaptured and subsequently starved into revolt again, more than Forty-Thousand peasants died in the starvations of Madina alone, Tens of Thousands more peasants dying the starvation and attacks upon their lands by rogue, with near enough the majority of the lands of Madina isle now rogue and in the grasp of starvation, the Grand Doge's ludicrous claims quickly fall on death ears. However, the result of this raises only more questions as to why Madina is so devoted to attacking the flourishing Kingdom of Aurvandil, whilst their own lands so perilously suffer and starve, refusing to serve the Madinan republic. It was further publicly noted that the city of Candiels, our fair capital was at a higher state of control and loyalty to Aurvandil, than Madina's capital of Tower Fatmilak was to them, despite the heavy starvation and brutal Pirate occupation of Candiels. }}

+ | |headline = Royalist Forces victorious, the Pirates driven back
+ | |article = The Hausos Knights of Auziwandilaz reigned victorious after days of urban warfare against the Pirates. The victory comes as the Pirates, forced from an actual occupation and take over of the city, took up an encampment outside the city, in which the Hausos Knights where subsequently able to man the Stronghold walls of Candiels, and barring the Pirates from entry into Candiels, after much heavy fighting the Pirates, with no stomach for genuine fighting (Undoubtedly why they use attacks by surprise to avoid actual fighting) soon retreated, even with a considerably large and stronger force than the one posed by Aurvandil. With the expulsion of the occupying Pirate force, the Aurvandil government was quickly reinstated and the forced starvation of the peasants enacted by the Pirates, ended, great festivities where held in the capital, made even greater by the arrival of the Prime Minister of D'Hara to personally sign into effect, a peace treaty between Aurvandil and D'Hara, and to also ensure that a ceasefire is upheld, and no further Pirate aggression and black market activities continued.}}
